The chicken is good, but the service isnt so good. Im new to the place, so I dont know how they operate. I called to place an order. Instead of them telling me they dont take orders over the phone they kept asking me questions like who am I...When I got to the Slip Inn I asked for a 12 piece please. 6 thighs and 6 legs. She said sure and made some small talk. I heard her say a few times to the people in back. "half and half. 6 thighs, 6 legs." Imagine my disappointment when I got home to find wings, legs, thighs, and breasts in each of the 2 containers I was given. If I had checked it while I was still at the Slip Inn I would have politely asked for a refund or just called it a loss. I thought it would be nice to occasionally get some fried chicken at Slip Inn, but the lack of attention to detail and lack of care for the customer isnt worth it in my opinion. It wasnt crowded. There were only 2 other customers and it was 3pm on a weekday. Maybe they were having an off day, but I wont go back. Ill stick to home fried chicken or Popeyes.

Not much of a food selection. They literally have nothing but different variations of fried chicken and side dishes like French fries and mozzarella sticks. Price is fair for how much you get. Not a lot of beer selection as I would like but still a good place to go and get away for a while.

Its a really nice location, situated on a marina with a great river view. It has a limited menu, but the wings are great. The service is usually excellent, but may occasionally get backed up due to a rush of customers. The often host special events that are geared towards the whole family.

I definitely didnt order much while here, but the food I did receive was mediocre and the atmosphere wasnt all that astounding either. Location is quite great, but past that, I dont see too much else being stellar about this establishment.

I acknowledge some reviews with regard to the service. Some things are intrinsic to the area. This is a cool place to have a cold one after a long day in this area. Relax and dont think youre at a 5 star restaurant...

Justin the bartender was awesome. Never disappointed with his mai tai skills. Georges chicken didnt taste as good as last summer. This is the second time this year I have had the chicken, something is off.

Bartendars are friendly, food is good, atmosphere is great. Tiki bar outside is place to be; however, open seasonally. Place is on a military base and veteran friendly.

It is a good low key place to have beer, wine and cocktail bythe pier. Very good fried chicken, however, the access to the place is limited.
