The food is standard Shake Shack fare, so you should know what youre getting into when you go there (burgers on the smallish side but flavorful, fairly crispy fries, etc.). The floats (I got the orange soda creamsicle) were decent, perhaps a bit unmixed as I had a large clump of ice cream in the middle... but thats half the fun right?) What I really liked about this location was the decor, it had the clean lines and sharp look of modern architecture, but was well balanced with wooden elements.

Went to purchase food at 1:30 pm and the racist cashier turned her back to me and ignored me and went and washed her hands. When I said something, another cashier helped me and was very nice as if she wad embarrassed by this womans poor behavior of not wanting to help me. If my 8 year old wasnt there, it wouldnt have bothered me. My daughter was the one who pointed out her rudeness. I will never eat here again!

The pros: The service is friendly and fast. The food tastes great. The restaurant is clean. My one complaint: the portion sizes are kinda small. Even a double burger is a bit lacking in quantity. I still recommend, because everything really is very tasty, but usually when I want a burger I want something substantial.

Burgers, cheeses fries and a soda. They were okay, not the best and not the worst. Service was fine. Prices too high. Basically its McDonalds type service at waitered service prices. If I was in the area again I would try another place on M St., or outside the ballpark, before I went back.

Its a pretty normal shake shack. Good food, but a little pricy for fast food. My order buzzer went off signifying my food was ready, I stood in line with three other people waiting about 5 minutes for the food to actually come out. Dont buzz me to the food counter if its not ready.

Always good for a quick bite of the typical fast-food fare: burgers, fries, milkshakes, even chicken hot dogs. Like all the food places in Navy Yard, on game days this place gets packed. The entrance and flow to order can be a little confusing, but it can be figured out.

We love it! We are visiting and it is on our between the Metro and our stay. We couldnt help but go again the second night! He smoke shack was absolutely perfect. The perfect flavors together. We have five kids...all were fans!

Nice inside. People were friendly. Shake was good. However the burger was really salty. To much salt to finish it all. Could have just been an off day or batch of meat though. So I would give them a try again though.

Burgers are really awesome! Theres something special in their cheese sauce. The cheese and bacon fries were also a hit. Be warned: the drinks are highly overpriced. Stick with water and get a soda somewhere else.

Great burgers, well worth the short wait. A couple of beers on tap, plus lots of shake/malt/concrete options. Ask for the shake shack sauce on the side of your burger and dip your fries in it instead.

Pretty good fast food burger and shake joint with friendly staff. Definetly higher quapity than burger king, mcdonalds, etc. You pay a bit more for the higher quality, aound 15 dollars for a meal
