Food is good but getting it is harder than it should be. We where the 2nd set of patrons to visit the restaurant Monday night my wife and I and our 2 children. We ordered our food, and restaurant starting filling up. We ordered a pizza and a burger along with wings and achild pizza for my son. It become frustrating when the waitress stopped coming to our table to fill waters and never addressed why our food was taking so long and we saw people getting there food that had come km 30 minster that us. 1 hour , yes 1hour, my wife finally stopped her and asked if our good was coming she said it would be right up, 20 mins later she asked again and said she would go check, blaming the kitchen for beimg short staffed, which is obviously shouldnt effect lur orfer because we krdered before Nylne else in the returant got there and they were already eating and or leavong, and she never returned to our table with an answer . If you have kids you know eating out cant be thisnlong because kids get antsy. Well finally at 730 after getting there 5:50 our food came it was very good. Needless to say we wont be going back due to this event. Which sucks because food was good, but dont have 2 plus hours to spend at a bar type restaurant... so Id say dont goat there

I wanted to like Goat, I really did. We started with chips and salsa which was probably not the best choice - shouldnt even be on that menu - but I was with a trepid friend and thought that would be a conservative choice. Chips were stale and the "salsa" was basically ketchup. Next up was the jerk chicken ceaser which was great. Good flavor but a modest amount of chicken. Salad was followed by a double fried chicken sandwich and the crispy fish. I got the chicken and my friend got the fish, both were okay. The real issue was the server. There were only two other tables so the place was pretty dead. Getting our server to even acknowledge us was like pulling teeth. When she did come over, she was almost reluctant to do more than simply take our order and set it down when it was ready. Im not sure if she was having a bad day or perhaps it was my Arabic friend I was with, but whatever it was it made for a pretty uncomfortable experience.

Opening weekend review. This place is really on point. Its got atmosphere, isnt too noisy and the menu is modern and homemade. We had Vietnamese meatballs. The sauce was amazing! fried green tomatoes BLT & Pork belly rueben sandwiches! I think the rueben was better... The homemade kraut and mustard were delish, Oh, and the homemade pickles that came with sandwiches were good. My hubby wasnt in love with the fries, but I liked them. I wish there had been a homemade ketchup option to go with them. Well definitely be back. Our waiter promised us a dessert menu was coming!

New favorite restaurant for my family. I got the lime jerk chicken Caesar salad. Best ceasar salad Ive ever had. My mother got the shrimp and grits. Best shrimp and grits Ive ever had. The calamari was incredibly tasty and tender. This place only serves fresh and delicious food. The service was wonderful too. Happy to have this in DE. I attached a picture of the bread pudding which was to die for

My boyfriend and I have come here a few times now, and it has yet to disappoint. Servers Kate and Victoria are positively lovely. Both the food and drinks were delicious; the hummus, the goat & short rib tacos, and the pork belly reuben were to die for, along with "the bluey" and "the teamster" cocktails. All around great vibe! Will definitely be returning to try everything else on the menu.

Our favorite restaurant for unique spins on American cuisine. We especially love the fried green tomatoes, the Buffalo cauliflower, the chicken wings, their house salad, the cheesecake with honey & elderflower syrup, and the chocolate pots de creme. They always have menu specials and drink specials. If you like to try something new, we recommend this place wholeheartedly.

BEST VEGAN CHEESESTEAKS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marcellos vegan cheesesteaks were so tasty that I almost thought they gave us meat by mistake!! Omg, sooo good!! We will continue to buy from this place. Keep up the excellent work and please think about adding a few more vegan items to the menu. Once vegans find a new place thats good, we tell all of our friends!!

Not from the area but my boyfriend is staying nearby for work so I went down for the night and we chose this lovely restaurant. Everything was amazing food/drinks ,kind people, great service, amazing food!! Boyfriend loved his rueban and my honey mustard chicken sandwich was great! It was a serious piece of chicken but wasnt dry at all! Definitely recommend!

Goat is great! Staff is always very friendly and accommodating to my vegan requests (yummy options!). This is one place the carnivorous boyfriend and I never have trouble deciding on things! Beer selection is fairly decent, rotating enough to keep from being too boring. All in all, we love this spot!

Fantastic Food and Excellent Service! Wife and I ate here tonight for the first time, and wow. Great drink selection, delicious food, and our waitress, Megan, was super. Megan had no problem at all when asked by my wife for recommendations. Thanks to everyone at Goat for a great night out.

Great place. I love the food and the atmosphere. Some of the dishes seem a little pricey, but theyre worth it. Bartenders have some nice drinks I tried for the first time. I recommend anybody in the area to give it a try.

Terrific hidden secret. Minimalist setting with wonderful artistic food...you will not leave here hungry. The BLT with fried green tomato and pimento cheese will take you to the low country of South Carolina.

The veggie cheese steak was amazing. Flavor and texture were prefect. I love the mushrooms but wonder if it would be as tasty without them so make sure you like mushrooms. Great service. no crowds.
