Before I start on my 2 star rating, Id like to note that the staff was very nice and the environment is exactly what I love (dark and quiet). Now, I ordered a plate of Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo, and it wasnt cheap. At about 16 dollars I was expecting this to blow my socks off. I was wrong. What I got was boiled noodles, chicken, and broccoli in a pool of white water. As you picked up the noodles from the plate, all the "alfredo sauce" instantly ran right off the noodle and back into the bowl, leaving the noodle tasting like.... You guessed it, a noodle! At that price, the quality was below unsatisfactory. The waitress asked how everything was and I told her the alfredo was more like white water. She offered to take it back, but I declined. I was hungry enough to eat anything. Ive never reviewed a restaurant on Google before, thats how bad/bland this bowl of chicken & broccoli alfredo was.

My niece was a bartender here until just a few days ago. My sister who is her sons caregiver was hospitalized resulting in my niece having to take a few days off. The owner did offer to babysit however my nieces son is Autistic which was explained to the owner. A non verbal autistic child can be severally traumatized when left with a stranger not to mention she would have no idea how to communicate with him. So since her mother was hospitalized and would not allow someone with no experience with autism to watch her child she was deemed unreliable and lost her job. Are these the type of people you want to give your money to

Ambiance is definitely nice, beer is good, but the food needs help. My wife ordered chicken and cheeses nachos which looked as if they were microwaved. I ordered the burger and onion rings. Asked for onions and cheese. Was charged extra for both. The onions were a small chopped handful on the burger that fell off as you close the burger. The onion rings were beer battered, but they used red onions which shouldnt be used in onion rings. Very sub par for the price. Glad we didnt order off the main course options. Those are pricey and if the quality is the same, I would have walked out.

Great food! We have been 4 or 5 times over the past year and have loved everything we ordered. The Reuben is to die for! The first time we went I ordered the Chicken Oscar and was amazed at the amount of crab meat piled on the chicken. My wife got the Reuben and fell in love. Ive had the Roast Beef Boxty with Jameson sauce and we both thought that was amazing as well. Quick, friendly service and great food have made Sheridans our go-to place in Smyrna. Luckily we live about 2 blocks away. :-)

I like it the first 3 times I went there, but this last time was totally different....the bar tender was a blonde w/ glasses, normally a school teacher, and the service was HORRIBLE!!! Waited 15 min for a beer when the place was empty. Then she got an attitude when we asked for our tabs, that she didnt come back for for another 10 min. Def not going there again if she is working there

I just got back from a great dinner at Sheridans. I had the opportunity to try the Shepherds Pie and the Guinness Irish Stew, as well as the Baileys Cheesecake and the Chocolate Cake. All were great. We also got some "Brown Bread" with our dinner. This is a traditional coarse bread that you rarely find in America. A real treat.

Amazing place. Have been going here for years. The owners are in site on a daily basis ans ensure everything is nothing less then perfect. The food is well worth any drive for the traditional Irish food that is offered. Lastly, enjoying the open deck on a cool summer night is a treat youd be hard pressed to find elswhere.

I didnt like it here, the food was under cooked, the bartender made me feel like I was bothering him for my next beer, and it was an uptight atmosphere. The place looks nice, and thats the only reason I gave 2 stars. Ill take my business to the Celtic Pub where its more friendly!

Great bar and great food! They do the "perfect pour" of Guinness. It is also located on the best bike route in Delaware, so you can stop for lunch and/or a beer, and refill your water bottles.

We had a very nice time. Great to see an old friend after several years have past. We did have to chuckle about the fly on the wall that was with us the whole evening. Could that be RW??

Good local Irish pub. Serve food late into the night, can be super crowded or dead depending on the time. Food can all start to taste the same.
