Honestly, if i could give a lower rating i would. My boyfriend and I dined here today for lunch ..had a taste for authentic mexican. NEVER AGAIN! it took less than 10 minutes for both of our dishes to come out. The food was luke warm at best. I ordered the vegetarian lunch. There were no beans in this whatsoever. .it was more like a bean sauce.. my tortilla on the burrito and whatever that was wrapped around my enchilda were very soggy due to the CANNED sauce i can obviously tell they splashed all around the food. Mentioning my plate..it had black marks of God knows what all over it.. the water i asked for and the food BOTH tasted like dishwater My boyfriends ENTIRE DISH WAS microwaved. im totally convinced that what they are selling is in fact frozen entrees from the food lion right down the street.. i really wouldnt recommend going here.. the waiter even looked like he was disappointed with the disaster he has bestowed upon us. oh and by the way the salsa they serve with the chips is TOSTITOS brand.. if i wanted tostitos salsa i just wouldve picked some up at the damn store.. but WAIT! THERES MORE! Some how they got VOTED BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT OF 2015?? HOW..TELL ME HOW?? We shouldve known it was going to be a bad experience once we first pulled up! The curtains by the open sign are completely crooked it looks like one of the tiki heads on the building is throwing up ( accurate omen) we shouldve just turned around then.. but nope we said "lets not judge a book by its cover (honestly should have) OH. and how is a restaurant that is apparently voted "best mexican restaurant of 2015" completely empty? thats right. we were THE ONLY ONES in the restaurant. onnnnneee more thing! ..a restaurant (when walking in) should smell like food ...no?

The Smyrna location was disgusting in all aspects. Cobwebs hanging from the light fixtures, filthy floor and tables, mysterious greasy film in the fountain sodas, soggy greasy quesadillas, being served bottled sodas that expired back in November of 2015 and June of 2016. Their kids menu is a joke! They serve Tyson brand dinosaur nuggets! Who does that? My moms shrimp in her fajitas were dried out and very rubbery. My fish tasted less than fresh and like they tried to just cook it in a bunch of grease to mask it. Lastly, I have two children and love kids, I just dont want to see the owners children running around the restaurant and climbing on top of and playing on the tables. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

Our dinner was delicious. Service was attentive not slow! Many Mexican restaurants bring the food out in what seems like before you even order it or soon after they take the menu away. Ours came timely after I had completed my appetizer, the tortilla soup (also very good). My only concern is that the "spice and heat" were dialed back a little to accommodate the typically mild american palate; flavor was there, just not as much as it could be. But we arent in the southwest so it is to be expected. Will dine there frequently now that I found the place.

Im glad you enjoy the mexican food in Smyrna. Only I have to bring you bad news. Did you enjoy your drinks too? Well I hope you like cockroaches too because their kitchen is full of cockroaches, they have dead cockroaches in the ice, they dont even bother to take them off and that ice goes in the drink you get. I know because I used to work there. Thats all I have to say enjoy your food.

Worst experience ever!!! ~Microwave food ~The food smelled so bad ~Flys? Yeah the right place to find them all over your food... ~Mexican food? Not at all ... Food is flavor less ~They only had one waitress and the place was quite busy.... ~I dont really rate places but If I could rate this place any less I will.... Really disappointed WONT RECOMMEND...

Would not recommend and will not be returning. Food was extremely salty, appetizers tasted like something youd buy in a box from the frozen section of a grocery store. The chips and salsa were good, as well as the margarita. But not nearly enough to make up for the food. If youre looking for tasty Mexican, look elsewhere.

Personally I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food is very good. This service is not the fastest but the food always comes out nice and hot. I enjoy the way the restaurant is decorated. I would recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food.

HORRIBLE! I COULD MAKE BETTER MEXICAN FOOD! IT WAS LIKE FROZEN DINNERS FROM THE STORE! And the people who say its the best Mexican in the area, that makes sense because this is the only Mexican place pretty much in Delaware.

We love going there. The food is excellent!!! CARLOS IS AN AWESOME WAITER!!! My 4 year old love going there too. Smyrna definitely has a good restaurant.
