Jerrys is the best Sushi place I have ever been to. I have been coming here for over 10 years. He has the freshest fish around and the most innovative menu. The rolls he serves are proper size and his Sushi Rice is the best around without question. I recommend Jerry Sans to everyone I know and no one that has come here has been disappointed. On top of having the best Sushi around Jerry himself is the most friendly, contentious and kind hearted smalle business owner I have ever meet. He reminders all his regular customers names and orders amd remembers new clients by sight. It is truly amazing to watch him at work as a hostess, entertainer and a Sushi chef. Bring your family, friends or a date here you will not be disappointed and most likely will become a lifer.

Absolutely the best sashimi you will find, bar none. Chef Jerry San’s sushi is deliciously creative. Brave new ideas are masterfully balanced with traditional ones creating a product unlike any other, while still staying true to its roots. Despite being renowned for their sushi, everything offered is exceptional. Though slightly less expansive than the sushi menu, items such as udon or soba noodles and tempura make this a good place to go even if you or someone you’re with doesn’t eat sushi. Don’t let the slightly dated exterior of the building fool you, Daiko is a world class restaurant.

Hands down.....the best sushi you will ever have. Period. You will go other places and they will never live up to Jerrys. You will keep coming back and appreciate Daiko even more. Also, Jerry San is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet. A genuine sushi master. A down to earth joyful person. Try the crunchy spice tuna roll. Try the Jimmy roll. Keep trying and trying....you will not be disappointed. Have a hand roll with Jerry at the bar. Enjoy!

This is the best sushi in the area! Weve been eating at Daiko for many years and always love it. Jerry Sans is very friendly and makes a special point to know you, as does the staff. The ambience is great, with hundreds of origami cranes strung along the ceiling and just as many Polaroid photos depicting people celebrating their birthday at Daiko. We especially love the spicy salmon hand rolls and always have a sake bomb!

Came here to try a new sushi place because of all the reviews. The atmosphere was somewhat friendly, it threw me off that when I asked for a water with lemon, he corrected me and said "water with ice". I overlooked it by looking forward for my steamed dumplings, and like the rest of the food, it was overrated, small portioned, and mostly tasteless. Not the best, but not the worst.

Love Daikos! Jerry is great! Aside from the friendly service (and the Sake Bombs), the food is great. It wasnt until I began travelling and ordering Sushi at other restaurants that I realized how good Jerrys food is. The Salmon melts in your mouth! If you have not been there try it. You will not get fresher, more delicious fish in CT. Trust me...

Delicious sushi and their spicy kani salad is top-notch!!!! Jerry Sans Daiko is definitely somewhere you should order takeout or sit in to eat!! Friendly staff and short wait times for takeout!! Love the crunchy spicy tuna roll but I usually ask for salmon inside and it is so good!! Try the Prime roll...SO GOOD!

My family and I have been going here for years. The food is always excellent. We all go especially for the sushi. This is one of the best places Ive ever been for sushi. If your a fan, try the seaweed salad and the spicy crunchy tuna roll. Wow!

Saw all the reviews and good ratings from this place. So I decided hey lets give it a go, worst mistake ever. The meat was fried beyond a crisp, and dry as expected from the looks. Never again will I punish myself with this.

Good sushi. The Tamago did not taste right. Not sure what that was about and the picked ginger was from a jar and not fresh. Overall good experience. Id go back. Staff was friendly. Location is a bit dated.
