Ive been going to this place for a couple of years. I have never had a bad experience with them and the pizzas are spot on for what Im looking for. BTW I lived on Wooster Street, New Haven for two years, Im hard to please. Im there mostly for their white clam pizza (phenomenal) , Margarita pizza or their Mushroom and Ham calzone (perfection). Im accustomed to Sallys or Pepes but they are a great substitute because the ride Id have to endure now residing in Wallingford would be crazy.

I am from New York and when I moved to Wallingford two years ago I went to about 7 different pizza places until I found Hometown, I must say there is nothing like NY pizza, however Hometown is the best pizza place I have been to in Connecticut. I tried some pizza places in the New Haven area where it is supposed to be like little Italy but I am being honest when I say that Hometown is way better. Not just amazing pizza but amazing Italian cuisine.

The buffalo chicken pizza is amazing! I wont get it from anywhere else. They also have great penne al vodka and fettuccine alfredo w/ or w/out chicken and broccoli. Their grinders and wraps are excellent, and the jalapeño poppers are the best Ive had (some type of red jalapeño stuffed with a flavored cream cheese!) Definitely my favorite pizza place in Wallingford! A must try!!

I got food from hometown pizza and their price online is different than the price they actully use. Got overcharged 5 dollars on 2 items and was not offered a refund. Its been three days since I notified them and online prices still havent changed.

For years I always thought Illianos had the best buffalo chicken in town, until I tried Hometowns. Absolutely delicious and addicting. Their staff is friendly and their service is fast and efficient too. Definitely my new favorite pizza place.

Ordered Penne alla Vodka w/ chicken tonight for pick up to eat at home...they gave us 2 salads and bread and butter with it. The portions were so generous we each could only eat 1/2 and we are big eaters. Best Ive had.

Food is consistently good and large portions. Everyone that works there is very friendly and efficient. We go often, always get the same table and the same waitress and she is awesome.
