The food is amazing I have never had a complaint about the way the food was made or the way it tasted. However that being said if they are busy and they tell you 20 minutes wait that is a lie its always much more than 20 minutes for me.Also I had 2 occasions where they forgot part of my order and I did not notice until I got home. One last thing- They love ignoring you. I walk in to pick up my order and sometimes on slower days there is never anyone at the counter to check me out. I even had the guy who owns the place walk right by me and into the kitchen without checking if I had been helped only for him to come out 5 minutes later and see me standing there still with no one to help me and him just leave again no servers or anyone to come help me until I finally called out to the lady working there who was just wandering around. So the food and pizza is amazing but the customer service? It sucks terrible.

Vernon Pizza and my family go back a long way. Quite aside from good food, and friendly and helpful service we have so many family memories here. Although the years have brought miles between us all still when the folks come home to Vernon, Vernon Pizza is the one place we all look forward to coming to. There is a nice variety of tasty food, and we are all great lovers of Vernon Pizza pizza, but interestingly it seems our familys all time favorite is the capicola grinder (the 12" please!)! That has been a must for most of us at every gathering for years! A family Tradition we couldnt think of going without! Good job, Vernon Pizza!!!! Well be coming back, again and again!!! Im sure as the "tribe increases" well be needing more chairs! David

Wont eat here again. Really want to write a good review but then today I ordered a pizza and wings as always for pick up. 20minutes Im told. I get caught up in something and show up at 40 minutes to find out that they had given my food to someone else 20 minutes ago on accident and didnt figure it out till I showed up. Then after waiting 15 minutes they offer me a dollar soda to make up for my wasted time and expected me to pay full price still. Boo this place. I would rather have average food and accountable service then the service I got today.

Ordered a few sandwiches from here a couple weeks ago. It took 20 minutes for the sandwiches but the staff was very nice. The food was great, with plenty of meat on the sandwich and the bread was fresh, this is not fine dining but great pizzaria food. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat.

Very disappointed in the pizza which had burn eggplant on it. The other pizza, not a thing was wrong. Maybe the pizza maker had a bad day. We all do. But will not stop me from getting another house pizza. Yes, the staff are very friendly and helpful even on the phone.

Im updating a review from over a year ago, that I had left after several very poor experiences in a row. Ive since been back and it seems the service is back to their old standards. Glad to see a local place still doing well, and Id definitely recommend a stop.

If youd like to have your order screwed up every time you order then this is the place for you ! You never know what your actually going to get. I tried pizza, grinders, salads, sit in and take out, gave it more then a fair chance. Disappointed.

Pizza and Italian inspired dishes is what youll find here. From pasta mixes with seafood to pastry based meals. Some portions are too much for one regular person, but average portions are well balanced.

This restaurant is always busy. Never leave hungry at very reasonable prices. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend if in the Vernon area.
