My favorite pizza in the Torrington, Winsted, Litchfield area! Its consistently delicious. We love the sausage and roasted pepper toppings. The crust is not thin, and its not deep dish. Its medium thickness, just right. Generous amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. This is classic old fashioned pizza. Weve never been disappointed. Lots of atmosphere, this is a charming old western-style place, divided in the middle with a high railing. There is a bar on one side, and tables and booths on the other. Dark wood paneling and tall booths, a vintage tin ceiling, and old photos of Torrington make Berkshire a comfortable casual place to bring friends. Each booth has a sconce on the wall for soft lighting. Friendly service. Berkshire doesnt accept credit cards. But if you are short of cash, they have an ATM.

Its really more like a bar, that makes pizza and sandwiches. The place is really quaint though. Dark wood tables and boothes with classy beer signs on the walls. Pizza was yummy, very cheesy and saucy.

The food and service is excellent. Owner is in touch with the operation. He does it all if needed. Menu has expanded to include many new items making a choice a challenge. Its all good. Pump it in.

I would say more of a bar Than A Cafe. Bar and restaurant section only separated by a dividing wall. Fairly dark inside but some of the best pizza I have ever had

Excellent pizza! The sauce is great. Im a thin crust fan, but this thicker crust is really good! The place is very cozy and the staff is very friendly.

Cool place for pizza and beer. This place is full of locals and a has a tiny, tiny bit of backwoods flavor thats more Burlington than Torrington.
