Ive been meaning to try 3 figs for a while now, and so last night decided to go up for a later dinner. It was about 830 when I got there on a Saturday, and the place was surprisingly slow. I mean the bar was about 2/3 full, but no one in the dining room that I could see. I sat at the bar, and ordered a wedge salad and a tavern burger. The salad was good, at 10 bucks I was hoping for a bit more iceberg (which is like 20 cents a head) but the dressing and toppings were good, and the salad enjoyable. The burger was good too, but a bit lacking in seasoning. Good sized, at least an 8 oz patty, cooked properly, and served with hand cut fries which were honestly my favorite part of the meal. Good hand cut fries are so hard to find, and these were crispy and cooked a little dark which is exactly how they should be, it develops the starch in the potato. Based on the burger and salad, Id come back to try some of the more intricate menu items.

This place has only been here for a couple months - and it is fantastic! My wife and I enjoyed two of the best meals ever. She had the Chicken & Brie, a small plate item of grilled chicken breast served on a toasted brioche bun, topped with Brie cheese, caramelized onions, roasted garlic aioli and arugula. I had the Stuffed Chicken Rollatini, a lightly breaded chicken breast stuffed with fresh mozzarella, spinach, roasted red pepper and topped with a Marsala cream sauce. The red skinned garlic mashed potatoes it came with were also out of this world! I am not exaggerating to say both of us remarked that it was one of the best dining experiences weve had - and at very reasonable prices! We shared a Chocolate Stout Mousse for dessert, and ended up taking half of it home! We look forward to many return visits, for lunch and for dinner, and for special occasions!

While the food is always exceptional (their cheese steak grinder is miraculous), there are two very different restaurant experiences at The Three Figs. If you have the opportunity to eat in the bar or the fireplace room, it is a 5 star experience. The service, food, and ambiance give the feeling of a great Irish Pub, and I often find myself eating their to forget the New England winter. (5 star.) However, if you end up in the hall in the back, it feels more like a cafeteria than the great restaurant it is. The room is cold, loud, and the service is generally slower since it is overflow from the main rooms. (1 star.) In short, when we can get into the bar or fireplace room, it is the place my wife and I go for dates. When we have to sit in the backroom, we go somewhere else.

Great Chargrilled Wings. The menu looks great and looking forward to trying some of the chefs creations. Added a very good Iceberg Wedge to my Wings. The non-breaded Buffalo wings were very good also. The selection of craft draft beers is excellent. The Stony Creek white stout was exceptional and my first ever. On the downside, though the staff was very friendly, the barkeep didnt have her game on. I had to ask for silverware after the food was served and for a beer refill. No follow-up on the wings. Attention to detail and anticipation to guest needs is fundamental to a quality experience. Although common sense in the food server industry, proper training in hospitality 101 is on the management

Love this place! Went here for he first time on Valentines Day and it was wonderful! The food was incredible! The chef paired things I would have never thought and it was delicious. Meats cooked perfectly. Our waitress was also super sweet and understanding and accommodating about my food allergy. And the service was quick! In and out in just over an hour with a three course meal and lots of talking after. Hands down my favorite restaurant in the area!

Nice change of pace if looking for a non-chain restaurant in the area. Looks like they update their menu frequently, and have rotating specials to keep you interested. Decent beer selection, but not too extensive. The bar area is my favorite when visiting but during busy times you may be in one of the side rooms. Not bad, but a little less ambiance. Parking may be limited when the restaurant is full.

Not good enough. They seem to have a good bartender that is all by herself doing too much, seem to have a good Chef whose standards have dropped. (Overcooked salmon, shriveled arugula, wet old lettuce, overcooked chicken in the pasta dish) Great building atmosphere, but they really need to improve.

I went with 5 other people. We all ordered something different. Everything was well prepared a d served hot. Very tasty entrees and the app were excellent. Drinks were very good also. Service was prompt and courteous. We will definitely be going back

Went for mothers day brunch. Nothing special but I would definitely go back. Their cook didnt do the best job on the eggs, two people in my party ordered two different style eggs and they got the exact same thing brought out to them.

Three Figs has a very diverse menu and each dish Ive tried has been wonderful. The waitstaff were very friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. Its easily my favorite spot to eat in town.

Great food! I love coming to Three Figs when i am in connecticut . The only thing i have a problem with was the service our waitress kept going and never really checked up on us.
