This has become our South Windsor area go-to spot for Pizza. They serve a thin, chewy, crunchy crust pizza with good quality, fresh toppings. They are reasonably priced and have regular coupons and specials. We love their Beach Chicken Pizza (though we substitute toppings we dont like, such as onions, for ones we do, such as cilantro! --- FOR FREE!) The Beach Chicken is great. Its topped with real breaded, white breast meat chicken (not that processed "patty" stuff most places have), bacon (we prefer pepperoni), diced jalapenos, a ranch sauce instead of marinara, and onions. My only topping complaint is that Id prefer smaller pieces of pineapple, they use chunks but diced seems easier to eat. We tried the fries but found them to be on the greasy and gross side. Ah well who -really- needs fries with their pizza, eh? They have lots of interesting specialty pizzas like "Honey Bean Chicken" and "The Brooke-Lyn". (Their menu is thankfully on their website) I love that they dont charge to subsitute toppings like the two popular places here do, ie Randys and Pepes. If you sub toppings at their restaurants they actually charge you MORE for getting LESS. Thats just wrong. Campions knows how to cater to the customers desires and preferences, which is great because people are often times very picky about what they love and hate on pizza. So far we havent tried much else on the menu, but were highly optimistic if the pizza and quality toppings are any indication of what to expect. They have a great Monday night all you can eat pizza & soda &/or wings deal too. The details varied depending on who we talked to but once we arrived we were told you get to pick 2 toppings. The slices were HUGE. They were also so yummy. It was a great way to sample everything we were interested in before ordering delivery the next subsequent times we enjoyed their food. Highlights on the menu: The sauteed mushrooms! White Meat Chicken Breast! Interesting specialty pizzas to try! Pros about the establishment: Good parking, plenty of seats, helpful and attentive service. Pros about delivery: Arrives promptly, friendly service. (Make a mental note they charge for delivery, but its a reasonable $1 or $1.50) Weve tried lots of the local pizza places and so far were most pleased with the food here and we think its well worth trying.

I just wanted to let you know how disappointed I am in your owner and staff who told me no delivery to out of town customers tonight due to the weather when not only am I a very loyal customer to your establishment but I am also closer than most people in South Windsor. I might be 8 minutes away. You might be asking why dont you just drive? Well thats what delivery service is for and also why I chose your restaurant over others. Ive ordered from you when I lived in South Windsor for 4 years and now here in Broad Brook for 2 years. My order is almost always messed up or the price is wrong or different than last time. And I never complained. Such a stupid decision to refuse service to someone who pays your restaurant and your drivers (in tips) so much money. I may be taking a hard line in not ordering from you anymore, but I cant continue to overpay for food from a menu last updated in August 9, 2009 and be treated this way. The food just isnt that good so the least you could do is treat your customers better.

Food quality was good, i would give it a 7 out of 10. Service - Front of the house was attentive and very nice once we were sat down but they all appeared to be very stressed and there was no host when we went got there so we kinda just stood at the door for 3-4 min wondering if we should just sit down or wait to be seated. So i would also give the Servies a 6 or 7 .The Food took longer than expected but that was clearly the the kitchen not being able to handle high volume, so dont go during a busy hour. Other than the food and service a friend of mine worked there for a short period of time because of hostile enviroment and the Owner was a "A**hole", He wouldnt pay my friend his wages for 2 months, avoided phone calls or he "wasnt there/ on vacation" for 2 months?! yeah, right ...not professional.

We went to the Monday all you can eat pizza offered on the printed menu. I had a SaveNowCT coupon. Some long-haired high school kid with a scraggly beard comes to the table and says "I hope youre not planning on using that coupon." He explained that the coupons are not good for promotions, and the all you can eat pizza is a promotion. How an item on a permanent, laminated, printed menu can be a promotion is beyond me. I paid full price, but even at half-price, this was a bad deal. The dining experience went downhill from there. The pizza was dry and very lightly topped, service was slow, salad was wilted, and I question the hygiene of the server--hair not pulled back, greasy looking. This place has gone downhill drastically in the last year. Ill not travel 15 miles for that again.

Went there a couple weeks ago. What happened. All these great reviews so we try it, food took forever to serve. 35 minutes for a cup of soup! Over an HOUR for a small pizza. The servers were all kids, and all they said when they delivered the over-cooked food was "thank you for your patience". They said that at every table around us within hearing distance. So everyone had issues with the food and/or service. Overall, not what we expected.

Not at all anything special. Cardboard style crust , watered down tomatoe sauce .Dry pizza Young inexperienced in customer service waitresses. If this is what South Windsor has for the most valued Pizza restaurant in town than maybe Ill avoid any other . Reading other reviews about the owner doesnt surprise me if the food is average but hyped .

Love the pizza and "The he Camp" is a favorite go to sandwich. Not terribly fancy and the ambiance leaves a bit to be desired but good food at a good price. I frequently either get take out or stop in with the kids for dinner.
