NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY: I used to love coming here but after one experience a friend had and now what I have just experienced it is clear these people are just out for the bottom line which to them is $$, not customer service. Friends paid a 100+ bill in cash someone took cash and they were forced to pay again even though they had already paid once. If that's not bad enough, the staff/ waitess/ manager were less than appologetic after the waitress spilled steaming hot butter all over a 6 year olds arm. Why are their childrens meals served so hot? And why would you even serve a bowl of noodles to a child with about 1.5 cups of hot melted butter underneath. They never once asked how they can help improve the situation..the waitress ignored our table the rest of the meal until she brought a grossly over priced check to our table!! You have got to be kidding me..they removed the $5 kids meal from the bill but that was it...they basically told me to pay and leave with no understanding or even the faintest care that they just burned a little kids skin...the manager actually said "its butter do you expect me to serve it cold" and "hes obviously not that badly burned hes not screaming that loud" he should be appologizing profusely for this mistake not telling me off! DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!

Should be a 1/2 star! Great place to sit outside and listen to live music on a beautiful Sunday afternoon - just DONT ORDER ANY FOOD!! We waited over an hour and a half for sandwiches and fish and chips. French fries were ICE COLD and inedible. Turkey clubs were dry and no bacon. Fish was overcooked. Bun was stale, plain dry, not even toasted. Not 1 person in our party had a decent meal overall. Each dish had a problem in and of itself, but the cold fries were the worst! Dont even think they touched the hot oil. Its as if they just dumped the fries directly from the bag onto our plates. Even the Bud Light on draft was FLAT. We ate as much as we could because at this point we were starving and complained to the manager - who was clueless. She was a young girl, inexperienced, who didnt know how to handle the situation and offered to make us a new batch of fries. Uh... how about NO. Very disappointed. Will not go back. Even the other customers seated around us could not believe what happened and praised us for speaking up. The kitchen staff along with the manager should be ashamed of themselves There are other places on the water with better customer service and value for your money.

I ate here with my family while visiting. We had some unexpected family come in after we were seated. We asked if we could make a larger table and the hostess was very rude and basically said no there was no room. We asked for the manager and he was helpful and made it work. I mean did they really want to turn away 6 extra people what idiots. The food was OK nothing great the waiter was so so , the view is nice but that is it. When I got home I checked my credit card and I was over charged $125.00! I called up and the manager Vinny he said I was correct and it would be taken care of, well 3 weeks have gone by and not a correction. Now it is within dispute because I am not wasting my time calling again. I would not give a penny to this place. It is a shame because it could be a nice place to eat on the water.

Number 1 worst restaurant I have ever been to in CT, lets start with the hostess you put a couple near the wall on hard chairs, while you stick two buddy playing on there phones at nice romantic seat next to the ocean, then the server forgot are whole order, we sat there for over a hour for are appetizer. The crab cakes came out burnt with weird tasting sauce. Then for the dinner I ordered stuff shrimp 3 medium shrimp inside some weird buttery goop. Are drinks sat empty on the table for 25 min. And then the pricing I dont mind paying high prices for food, if the food was worth it but you can get better stuff shrimp and fried clams at friendly for half the price. Dont waste your time driving down to the shore line for this restaurant

This restaurant is not for everyone. If you sit on the deck youll have to watch out for ants walking on the white posts which are even with your table top. We decided to move inside where the band was butchering some old favorites as Billy Jean by Michael Jackson. Everything we asked the waitress for her opinion on was the best. I ordered the lobster risotto for 29$. It did not even resemble a risotto. It had cherry tomatoes, peas, and white rice loaded with cheese. Two others with us ordered the carbonara. It was ok. The bathrooms are co-ed. We will never go back.

What a shame..this place could be so great. Fun location on the water. Cute interior. Food was so lacking. Ordered stuff shrimp with spinach and crab meat. Served 3 undercooked shrimp floating in melted butter ..if there was either crabmeat or spinach in the burnt stuffing it was hard to find...stuffing was mushy and inedible. My husband found the best part of his fish and chips to be the French fries which were reminiscent of McDonalds. Gordon Ramsey where are you? This place has great potential..a true FTLT (First time last time).

We stopped in by boat this past weekend while exploring for the first time on the river. We were excited to find a spot right on the water to go to but we left a bit disappointed. the mixed drinks were cheap at the bar but they were mostly ice and mixers. A long Island iced tea tasted more like a whiskey sour, without the wiskey. the service was good at the table but the bar left a lot to be desired. the food was good but not great. Wed probably go again in hopes it was just a fluke though.

We always make a point to stop here whenever were in the area and it always hits the spot with some of the best seafood weve ever had. The lobster rolls are always brimming with mounds of fresh locally caught lobster meat. The always friendly staff even helped us pack two to bring back to New Jersey. It was our fourth time here and we look forward to returning.

Food is average, at best. Service is rushed as they try to turn over tables quickly. Bathroom in bar area was not very clean. HOWEVER, the view is beautiful, the live music is fun, and the people watching on the dance floor is a hoot. Overall its a fun experience, but I would never go their strictly for the food.

Server was rude and would not even ask kitchen staff for extra veggies on my salad. I offered to pay extra and explained i have food allergies. He was smug and condescending. The food was way over priced for what you get. Will never eat there again evenif it was the last place on earth to eat!!!
