I would like to start off by saying that this place is absolutely horrid. While other reviews may be conflicting, I can assure you that this location is not all that it is hyped up to be. Ive lived in this town for years, and never once enjoyed their meals. Their grinders taste funny, or overall unsatisfactory, for one. They sometimes taste as if the staff members simply scrounged together whatever old, crusty materials they could find and threw them onto a sandwich. Their hot dogs are rather unsatisfying as well as boring. However, the pizza is the main attraction; that does not mean it is good at all. No matter what kind of pizza you order, you are met with an over-greasy product that has little to special or even unique taste to it. You could go to Village Pizza down the road and receive a much more satisfactory product. Last but certainly not least, the premise is unclean. One time while ordering my food from indoors, I witnessed a large cockroach moving up the wall behind the counter at which I was ordering. It was disgusting, and it truly convinced me to never eat there ever again. In conclusion; I do not recommend this establishment for your pizza-eating cravings. In addition to owners who are so rude and mean to the point where they should not be allowed to own a business, the food is unsatisfactory and boring.

Family Pizza – Niantic, CT Quaint little pizza house in Niantic, CT right on Main St downtown. There is ample parking around back which is where we entered the restaurant from. As you walk in theres a car on the right and thats also where the pizza ovens are. The people are super friendly and the service is quick and efficient. We had a large pizza between the two of us; half pepperoni and all mushroom. Nice thin crust with lots of flavour and a nice sauce. Plenty of tables inside and a few outside in front. Not sure if the A/C wasnt working or if they dont have any. That was the only downside for me but once I took my tie off it was fine. We’ll come here again and recommend you try them as well, either sit down or take out. Youll like the pizza!

I asked today for a WHITE PIZZA and the guy at the counter laughed to my face and made me feel like an idiot asking something stupid. He raised his eyebrow and asked you want a pizza with no sauce ?? Like I am from the moon and want to eat only the crust .. HE is working in a pizza place and he has no clue what is the WHITE PIZZA. I showed to him on my phone... At least he could say: Can we offer you something else ? He was just RUDE. I never go there again.

Just went there with my family and was very disappointed. Everyone received their food besides me, 10 mins. later the waitress came over and said hows everything? I said, "I havent received my food yet". all she said, "was I know". after a total of 15-20 mins. she brought over my chicken parm. grinder and it looked horrible. They used left over chicken strips....I didnt eat the food and my bf asked to have it taken off the bill. Never going back there again.

Located on the corner of highways 161 and 156 in downtown Niantic, the Family Pizza Restaurant is quaint and airy. We love sitting outside watching the people and crs go by. The seafood is pretty good. The pizza is some of the best around. The people working there are nice and the service is great. It better than most of its competition and the whole experience makes us come back time and again.

Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Our server was not only very accommodating during the meal, but she also seemed to know everyone and everything about the local community. The portion sizes were much larger than we expected so we ended up taking a lot of it to go, but the food was delicious. I highly recommend eating here if youre visiting the area.

I love this place. The first time I came here my girlfriend brought me here. And I love their pizza and garlic bread. One time we got a burger and fries and it was huge. We could order one and split it between the two of us and it would be more then enough to fill us up. I go here every chance I could get.

Pizza Hut does a better job making pizza then this place!!!! The sauce had a strange flavor and it was way to greasy. If you are the type of person who likes good pizza - the kind Italians make - this is not the place to go.

Love the food, and love the atmosphere. Staff is great, very friendly and helpful. Good location with plenty of parking. One can sit inside, or on the outside patio (in season), and look at the beautiful ocean view.

Found this place by accident. Glad we did. Friendly staff from the beginning, the hot dog was amazing. The bread, bacon, lettuce, onions, all of it was fresh and tasty. You must try the hot dog!
