MoMo Sushi is so delicious! First, the staff is extremely friendly. They always greet me right away and genuinely care for their customers. In addition, Jasmine, the owner, is involved and absolutely amazing. So sweet! Now for the food..It is top-notch!! Very tasty. Some of their rolls are scorched with a torch and the tasty, smokey flavor it adds is delicious!!!! I always get the Kathy roll and the Golden Dragon roll..with the Cyrus or Tiger roll substituted some days. Plus, I always get their Kani (crabmeat) salad with spiciness added! Last but not least, their fried gyoza is tasty and is always ordered as an appetizer with the Kani salad!! If you havent been to this gem of a restaurant, go!! You wont be disappointed.

Strictly average. The rolls are small, and superficially pretty, but at the same time not particularly well-crafted. The fish is pretty fresh, but again, not cut very well and provided in small portions. The ambiance is more of a college towns fast food establishment than it is a nice sit down dinner. To top it all off, this place is pretty expensive, almost as expensive some truly fantastic places down the street in Orange and some gastronomical absurdities (all you can eat) nearby in Milford. So in short, theres really no reason to go here. If you want quality, or quantity, for roughly the same price, you can do better. (Waitresses are super nice here, though-- sorry for the lackluster reviews of your establishment)

My father and I have never loved a sushi place more, and we have been to a million. The sushi is amazing, well priced, and always ALWAYS fresh. Jeffrey is so creative with the food, I always take pictures. I go there weekly and cant get sick of it because the experience is always creatively different and consistantly good. Everyone who works there has great, upbeat personalities and make you feel right at home. The only problem I have is they set the bar too high and I wont go anywhere else now! :) Please keep going there and fill up those seats because if not, you are missing out! You will not be disappointed.

Cocktails are the best! I love the Pink Rose and Espresso Martini. The food is also exceptional. My favorites are the salmon terriyaki bento box, (appetizers: Napoleon, rock shrimp tempura, shrimp and veggie tempura, and gyoza), pork ramen, Golden Dragon roll, and the roll with my name: Heather roll! The staff and chefs are very nice ans genuinely care about their customers/business. Jasmine (the owner) is always so sweet and attentive. Always involved in her business. We run into her sometimes outside of work in a store etc. and have nice conversations then go on with our day. :) ❤

1) Nicest, most polite service EVER! Offered me a seat at a table while I waited for my take out order even though it was crowded and they only had like two tables left open. 2) Incredibly accommodating. Im allergic to avacado but love sushi and they offered to modify any roll I wanted. 3) The rolls I received were great! The Philadelphia roll was savory, the Shitake savory and a tiny bit sweet, the crunchy tuna/ salmon was just plain delicious. Definitely plan to go back again...think I found my go-to sushi place!

The staff at MOMO is what makes this place unbelievable. The food has always been amazing. Honestly, Jasmine is one of the main reasons I go to Momo. She is the friendliest person in the food service industry Ive met in a while. If youre lucky enough to have her as your waitress, shell probably remember you by name and always remember your favorite item on the menu. Impeccable service!

All these negative reviews offer no reasoning. I have been here multiple times. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is delicious and prepared relatively quickly. Prices are decent. Not the cheapest, but it is well worth it for the atmosphere. When I ordered ice cream they lit it on fire, what a cool presentation! Im a satisified customer and will return here time and time again.

Im not a big sushi fan, however I was able to eat the raw fish bites they gave us as a treat. It tasted so fresh and not fishy which is what generally turns me off. The service was ridiculously attentive with a full restaurant. The sushi was also some of the best Ive had (girlfriend loves sushi). If I can tell the difference, a more discerning sushi patron will love this place too.

Enjoyable and delicious every time. I am still exploring the menu from the incredible selection. The sushi is high quality and has many options from complex rolls to fundamental plain rolls or just fresh uni. It is the best sushi place in the new haven area, far superior to Miyas with quality and service.

Excellent sushi! Fresh, prompt service with attentive staff. Bluefin sashimi was exceptional. Green tea equally good. Miso soup very flavorful. Roti Chanai with dipping sauce very good and spicy. Rum cake was a delicious dessert. Most definitely going back. Reasonably priced as well. A gem!

Momo is a top notch restaurant that never disappoints. They have extremely courteous staff and the food is always fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend Momo for anyone looking for a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Be on the lookout for the exotic specials on Thur -Sat also!

Terrible service. Waited 10 minutes for a table only to be told that they could figure out how to seat 3 people. Multiple tables for 2 were open and not reserved. They just wouldnt slide two together. Unbelievable! Also, the place smelt like bad fish. Wont be be going back there.

Tasty sushi, but recently had a bad experience when they were busy. We walked out after no one greeted us for five minutes...even after getting the staffs attention! Their loss. We went to Wasabi instead. Its a small place so definitely make reservations to play it safe.

Stopped here after a car repair. The staff was good and The atmosphere was great. My main course wasnt my favorite but t g is was do was down to poor choice on my part. The Tempura ice cream was great though! I am ever in the area again Ill come back l :)

The sushi rice is lacking in flavor but the atmosphere is great and one of the friendliest and liveliest small sushi restaurants I have been to. The menu is immaginative paying homage to their loyal customers. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

Tried to have a nice dinner but the waitress was for some reason really surly and rude, seemingly bothered by us ordering food a second time... Hello! This a sushi restaurant and thats normal! Overpriced for food quality too. One star deserved.

All I have to say is FANTASTIC! The rolls are not overstuffed with rice like most places and the fish is super fresh. Definitely one of the best in the area. The servers are very attentive and arent overbearing. We had a great time

This Place Is Amazing. Sushi Is Always Delicious And The Staff Are So Welcoming. Definitely Recommended For Any Type Of Crowd. They Also Do Birthday Dessert and Play A Birthday Song. Mo Sushi Mo Saki!
