The servers were pretty inattentive. After seating ourselves we were left waiting at our table for a long while until any employee even looked our way. The seating is very limited and tables are jammed up against each other. One side of our table had to get up a few times to let the table in the corner out. Thats pretty annoying. I ended up ordering a flat bread pizza that was very disappointing. $13 for something a college student could put together in their dorm room is pretty outrageous. Looking at the menu the prices overall seemed way too high for the quality we saw. A smallish side of fries was $5.50 with a stingy serving of dips. The craft beers on tap were good, but there were quite a few listings missing from the blackboard they use to list them. I had my glass go empty a few times since the staff came by so infrequently. There are much better beer bars in the area. Prime 16 and Cask Republic in New Haven have better food at better prices and more beer. Mikro may be a suitable bar for a local to walk to and pick up a pint or two of craft beer, but this is not a must-go if you are looking for a good beer bar in the New Haven area.

The best restaurant if you love great beer and amazing food. Their draft list is always long and changes frequently with beers of all types, including rare beers. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and Ive never left feeling disappointed (unless the beer I love runs out because its so popular! which is totally not a bad thing). Brunch is excellent here as well, they once had an eggs benedict with lobster instead of bacon...it was TO DIE FOR. Only complaint is that the seating area is small and limited, so the wait can be long during busy hours. But I believe they are moving to a larger location soon to alleviate this issue.

Im sad to say that I did not really enjoy my visit to this place. When I arrived, there were NO SEATS available, so the staff literally asked other people to get up so I could sit. Which I appreciate, but thats really rude. They then ignored me for upwards of twenty minutes before I got a menu. It was extremely loud in there and was hard to tell the server what I was ordering, so I had to just point to the menu before another long wait until I finally got my food and drink. The poutine was great but it was extremely pricey for the quality and I will never come here again because of it.

Friendly and quick service at the bar. Good specials, happy hours and selction of beer. Flights are a bit pricier than Ive encountered but not horrible at %15. It would be perfect if they had descriptions of their beers on paper. I ate the shrimp and grits plate, except for the relish, it was very good!! Flavorful and wonderful combo of spices. The egg added the perfect topping combined with everything else. Definitely would return if i had the chance. Only in area for work.

A top notch bar!!! Wonderful knowledgeable bartenders & staff who always have suggestions ready for those who are overwhelmed by the many unique beers to choose from. They constantly change up the beers on tap...we eat there once a week and theres always a new beer to try and great food to accompany it! Its a small establishment and gets very busy in the later hours of the day, so get there around 5:30/6:00 and youll have a better chance of getting a seat.

This bar/restuarant is a great addition to the area. I think given the size and location they are going to do well. The menu is small but on point with the ever changing menu of beers/spirits. I enjoyed that the menu was not just "bar food." We had the pork carnita flatbread (awesome for one or two people) and the sweet potato tamale that had a little kick and pair well with our beer choices. All and all I hope people discover this unique place

Exceeded all expectations (which were pretty high to start) From the unmatched beer selection to the clean environment, friendly, considerate and attentive staff to the great food I cant imagine a better beer bar than this....though maybe one with a bit more space. Compared to other places of similar size, they do a phenomenal job of making every square inch count and make sure that their customers are satisfied, I cant wait to go back again!

One of my favorite restaurants in CT. Food is absolutely delicious and if you eat pork I highly recommend the pork belly bahn mi. Numerous beers on tap and all of them are delicious. I actually worked here for a short time and I have absolutely nothing bad to say. Staff is friendly, kitchen is VERY clean, and the overall atmosphere is fun. Would highly recommend to someone looking for good eats or a nice date spot.

This is slowly becoming one of my favorites places to visit to take people "out on the town" in Hamden. Depending on when you go prepare for some trouble with available parking and for a cramped waiting area, though I cant blame them if its because they are so popular. Its a very warm and homey atmosphere and an ideal place if you want to have a delicious sit down and very well selected beer.

This place is a bit small but has a nice atmosphere. I like the decor. Menu selection was unique. Not too much to choose from and a little pricey in my opinion but the food was good. Our waitress was nice and attentive. There was also a man walking around hosting and checking on tables. He made sure everything came out okay. Beer selection is great.

definitely a cool atmosphere and the beer selection is impressive. Its a very small place however, so it fills up quickly meaning you almost always have to wait for a table.... which always Inhibits me and a group stopping by last minute because you can see from the outside that its packed. A bit pricey but not too bad! Food is good, service too.

Very overpriced on the food, prices should be cut in half. Took about 10 minutes until we got attention from the staff. Four or five taps were down, some good selection on those taps left. Food was mediocre at best, very disappointing for the price. Go to prime 16 or cask republic for a better beer selection and much better food.

By far the best pub in Hamden to grab a drink after work. The beer selection is amazing and incredibly priced and the service is attentive and friendly. Also, I have never had Poutine as good as theirs outside of Montreal. Burgers are damn good too, cant say enough positive things about this place, cant wait to go back.

Was a busy night here but the beer was great the service was great they got us seated as soon as they could it took a little while but was worth the wait and I didnt mind waiting I figured since they were busy we must have chosen a good spot and we did. Great service and food. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Excellent food and beer! Had a great spur of the moment dinner here. Poutine was delicious with the beef sauce. The Reuben was really good with thick cuts of corned beef. The beer selection was great as well and definitely had a lot of local favorites. Would definitely go again.
