This place is a good hang out place that I like to go after work for a beer or two. What really makes this place is the wide variety of specialty beers. You can find everything from Dog Fish to Otter Creek and everything else under the sun. Great happy hour beer prices at 2 dollars each from 5-7 and the bar tender is always friendly and knowledgeable on beers. They also have a challenge called "30 in 30" in which you must drink 30 different beers within 30 days. I plan to complete this challenge some day.....

Didnt have the opportunity to try the food, but it looked delicious. Outer Space provided an awesome Halloween night for myself and friends. Staff was friendly, an AWESOME selection of beers, and the music really blew me away. I wasnt expecting much, but the first band "A Fine Constant" really killed it. The venue itself is very nice and has a relaxed and modern attitude with some pretty unique antiques. Ill definitely be stopping here more often.

Nice, cozy place. Came during happy hour with along with trivia night and had a great time with friends as well as new folks who I would definitely want to see again in the near future. Besides the service being a tad slow, the food was great but drink selection was a bit limited. Other than that, definitely a hole in the wall you should mine through for a couple hours.

Saw Tank and the Bangas here on a Sunday in July. I had never been to the space and drove 2.5 hours to get there from Boston and definitely wasnt sure what to expect from the space. That said, totally loved it. Its divey but high-quality in terms of the staff, style, and local craft beer. The concert space is intimate and perfect for a high-energy show.

Great all ages music venue adjacent to a bar with nice patio. Just off the Farmington canal trail so a great place to bike to, especially from new haven, (though they could more in the way of a bike rack..). Great beer selection and prices, fun vibe with a really mixed crowd-- would recommend particularly on a nice day or for a show!

This is a live music venue. On a recent Saturday afternoon, I enjoyed a beer on the patio. I didnt order any food but the plates arriving at tables nearby looked & smelled delicious! Note of caution: cigarette smoking is permitted on the patio & I didnt enjoy the smoke wafting in my direction.

The Space is great for capturing the feeling of an all-ages basement show - and Ive seen some great acts there who went on to become pretty famous. The Outer Space offers an excellent beer list and a relaxed environment. The Ballroom is about the perfect size and setup for a local music venue.

Why go to New Haven? The Outer Space is a fantastic place to kick back, relax, enjoy a great beer (fantastic local selection, BTW), and catch some live music. The owner, Steve, will always make you feel welcome...and theres plenty of parking. I freaking love this place!!!

A wonderful space for music. The sound seems very well balanced and properly set for the room. The stage area is very nice and the craft beer selection is top notch. If a band or performer you like is playing the Outer Space, go see them. Food is also served in the front.

This is such a great place to hang out. Great music every day, a vast selection of craft beers on tap and in bottle. The staff is knowledgeable and make you feel right at home. I cant say enough good things about Outer Space. Steve does an outstanding job!

Great place to see a band. Small venue allows for an intimate show. Good sound. Surprisingly good food and 17 beers on tap. Service can be slow but that is forgivable because the servers make you feel welcomed.
