Got a patty melt with fries to go. When I got home I discovered the absolute worst sandwich Ive ever had! The burger was a thin, flat tough shingle. There were literally three little pieces of onion and no cheese at all. The crust of the rye bread was so hard I had to use a serrated knife to cut it. The fries were soggy and undercooked. I should have known something was wrong when the cook started screaming at the manager, threw a towel at her and walked out screaming that he quit. Oh well, lesson learned. Never going to this place again! Stay away, really horrible food!

Hands down, -The- Best Diner in Hamden. The food is always great, and the waitstaff is always superb. I have eaten here, probably, hundreds of times, in the many year that I have lived in Hamden, and have always had a wonderful dining experience, whether with family, friends, or even on a night out with a significant other. The fact that theyre 24-hours, makes them one of the best places to get in that late-night/early-morning meal in the county. You, most likely, wont leave here hungry.

Food is good but one waitress is always very loud to the point its disruptive. Tonight she decided to have a disagreement with a waiter behind the counter for the whole establishment to hear and then tell the gal in charge she was rude. Did not make for a nice dinner

I love this diner! Its open 24hrs and the food is always great. Its nice and modern and clean and the staff is always friendly. Meals always come out fast and are nice and hot. I havent had a bad meal here yet!!!

This place is magic on a plate. All of the selections at Acrop are delicious. The servers are friendly and quick. The atmosphere is pretty laid back. Chill out and eat some great food!
