My husband, son, and I visited last night, 6/29/17. The food was fantastic. The service was pretty good, but they showed that they were a bit rushed. I wished it had been a little more relaxed in that way since we were there for the first time and I had a lot of questions. The server did not offer suggestions, or show us the menu, or really just didnt take the time to explain what we were looking at...even after I told him it was our first visit, and only the second or third time wed had thai food. Also it was our 15 yr anniversary, info I would have gladly shared with the server had he taken the time to try to have any kind of conversation with us. I felt they could have done a much better job connecting with us. My husband and I both work as servers, so we get the job, but for us relationship with the customers is extremely important. Well most likely go back though because of the food, and because we needed gluten free. Not only was the food delicious, but I did not get sick!! Such a rare occurrence.

Fantastic food- red and green curry both phenomenal as well as all fish meals and drunken noodles. Service is great and they will customize the heat/spicyness for you. Not a fan of the corkage fee (though I like the BYOB policy because I prefer my own local wines anyway) nor do I like their cash-preferred policy. Have not stopped several times because I dont keep cash on hand regularly. They dont realize the business they are missing out on because of those signs.

This place is Awesome, simply the best Thai you will find locally. The veggies are always crisp and fresh, the owners super friendly, and the price you just cant beat. We go here at least once every 2 weeks. Last weekend we decided to try another place which was voted Best of Hartford 2011 and they didnt even come close to the quality of Green Papaya.

I have been to practically every Thai Restaurant in the Hartford Area, and Green Papaya by far has the best red curry with chicken Ive ever tasted. It is not to rich, and has a great essence of coconut. In addition they load it up with a wide array of vegetables which I absolutely love! If you arent a curry fan, go for their pad thai:)

I am so happy that I came back to this restaurant! My chicken pad Thai is what I love most and it was just what I remembered years ago. I now can just go 10 miles away when I dont go to Maine to get it at my sons restaurant up there ! Im so happy!! I even had leftovers the next day and was just as good !!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants for authentic Thai cuisine. The food is consistently delicious and the service is great also. The atmosphere has more of a homey feel and is a pleasant change from the corporate chains that youre used to. I eat here often and would recommend it it to anyone! : )

This is, bar none, the best restaurant in Canton and the surrounding area. The food is authentic and very fresh. Try the Laotian specialties they are great! One negative comment: the $2.00 "corkage fee" for wine. The restaurant doesnt have a liquor license so how can you charge a "corkage fee"?

We eat here at least once a month and the food is always great. The sticky rice is a nice change from the usual white rice. My husband has tried nearly everything on the menu and we havent found a dish yet that we didnt enjoy.

One of my favorite places to eat. Food is fresh and delicious. Its a nice family run business. Love the fresh cut orange they serve at the end of the meal. The service can be a little slow sometimes but Ill keep going back.

This is one of my very favorite Thai/lao places to eat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food is always fresh tasting, quick and delicious. I highly recommend the green papaya salad and Tom yum soup.

Try the Lao Fish Pocket! It is exquisite! The Lao Thai salad is the freshest and the ginger dressing is unique. Sparkling clean, lovely ambience, this is a favorite place!
