The Popeyes at Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport was very filthy. The racks were full of crumbs and the floor was full of fries. The girls were obviously new, but I waited 15 minutes for 8 pieces. On top of that, I asked for rice and beans and got mashed potatoes. When I got served, I asked for the drinks. I was told that this order did not come with drinks, but at no time was I asked if I wanted anything to drink. Because of my wait, however, the manager did not charge me for three drinks.

The store is absolutely immaculate. You could eat off the floors in the bathrooms. The cleanest fast-food restaurant I have ever seen. On top of that, the staff is very friendly. You can tell that the people who work there care about their store and their customers. I had to wait a few minutes for my order as they cooked it up fresh right then and there and boy was it good. They have a Coke Freestyle machine which is the icing on the cake.

Very clean place with friendly staff. Drive thru during the day is way faster then going inside. At night seems the never have enough food and they make you pay and wait in the parking lot for an additional 10 minutes while they cook it. So much for fast food. North ave location has a much better flavor if I may add.

Not sure about other area Popeye this one is overpriced. The chicken tends to be a bit salty, the coleslaw was lacking flavor and the texture was not pleasant at all. Try Drumstik on Main Street Bridgeport , really good chicken much better prices.

Worst place... They have me waiting for food for 10 or more minutes, they just keep saying one more minute and its ready but I prefer to leave and eat somewhere else, the place was empty so they just wasnt doing their jobs. Really never coming back.

The North Ave location is WAY better! Fairfield Ave location serves "suspect", unfresh chicken, theyre not consistent, they seem unorganized and service is really slow.
