Ive been here a few times. The Pho is just okay, the beef is thin, chewy and over cooked, but its close to work & home. On my last visit about half-way through my Pho, a fly floated to the surface. There werent any flies in the dining area that I saw, and there certainly were none near me while I ate; it was undoubtedly in the broth when it arrived at my table. Upon discovery of the insect, I took my bowl up to the counter and pointed it out. The first person i spoke to took the bowl to the back of the kitchen and offered me more fly soup. I declined. When I was asked to speak to the kid running the register, he told me that the fly got in there while I was eating, after I told him it hadnt. He said "Well" and shrugged. In some ways Im glad the food isnt anything special because I wont miss not going back. Any establishment that serves you soup with insects in it, calls you a liar, and doesnt immediately offer at least a refund, is really just awful. If you like fly soup and terrible service, give this place a try.

Very bad experience...mix-ups and HAIR..., and apparently everyone else had issues tonight. First, they lost my take-out order, saying I must have called another restaurant. I showed them the number I called and the employee confirmed that was the right number. Next, I was told they found my order but the other guy was new to taking orders and he typed in the wrong food items. It was way off, like a completely different order. We got it right and I waited for it to be made. I witnessed customer after customer receive the wrong take out order, many apologies and excuses, and then the correct order. I received my order pretty quickly, but it was missing one of the three items. Same apologies, excuses, and then my real order. When I got home, ready to eat, I found hair in my food. Worst service and so gross!!!! There are better places. Not sure why it was so busy with every customer in my 20 minutes there receiving bad service....and probably hair. Not going back and now were hungry since we didnt eat it. Ugh.

As long as they keep the front counter guy working, I will NEVER return. Its a shame too because the rest of the staff is really nice and the foods okay... fast pho lacking authentic taste and bare basic ingredients .. but its the front counter kid that is the real problem.. an absolutely arrogant and rude jerk. Brought us the wrong plate, then yanked it off the table almost making a ridiculous scene then took the wrong order (dumpling instead of eggrolls) and threw them into the trash.. your mistake buddy, not mine, better customer service would go a LOOOONG way at this place.. btw.. watch the flies, leaving that kitchen door open all day .. I wonder how many they pick out of the soup each day?

Honestly, this used to be one of my favorite Pho places in the city but the quality of the food has recently gone down hill. After a 20% tip my total bill for one rare steak Pho was nearly $14.00. With that said, the cuts of meat that theyre currently using are very low-quality. Instead of tenderizing in the warm broth, they simply become very dense and chewy. As you can see from the photo the sprouts and basil are not fresh and even though I requested extra lime, I only received one small piece. I wont be returning anytime soon.

Crap Crap Crap!!! The Pho is NOWHERE near GOOD. Much less "Authentic". The sides that come with the Pho looked DAYS old, I asked for another plate and I got one exactly the same, finally had to ask for a refund, good luck getting your money back! THE FOOD TOTALLY SUCKS!!!! If you eat there and think that it's good, you probably think McDonalds is "good" and your taste buds probably can't taste the difference between a filet minon and a dog turd!!

We ordered takeout from here and the veggie and tofu pho seemed like an afterthought with flavorless broth, a few measly squares of completely uncooked and unseasoned tofu, and not much for extra veggies besides the normal pho toppings. On top of that, it also costs MORE than the chicken or beef! Veggie pho can be amazing with a little effort, I hope they change their recipe, or at the very least, the price.

Got the rare steak pho for takeout- got home, assembled, and started eating only to find a bug floating in my bowl. Called to let them know so they could prevent it from happening to other customers and the person I talked to did not seem to take it seriously and did not make efforts to remedy the situation. Solely said that he would look through the cilantro again. Will not be returning.

Sometimes I just crave pho fusion!!! This is a very unique pho place, in that when you walk in the door it smells delicious (not fishy or ... mysterious!) This is the perfect place to take someone who hasnt heard of pho before! I really dont like noodles and theyll let you do your pho with brown rice if you want--- now I think Im going to have Pho Fusion fo supper tonight!

This place is so tasteless and nothing on the menu is Authentic. It is so bland and just horrible. I guess I should have expected that being in the highlands where there is no good Vietnamese restaurants. I am sure I will never go back. Just awful food. South Federal (Vietnam town) is by far the best area for Pho and Vietnamese cuisine.

Big disappointment, saw it was in Westword and decided to give it a try. Chicken was dry, looks to me it had been cooked already and reheated to order and the Vietnamese egg rolls tasted weeks old. I thought to myself, that was fast. Now I know it was too fast. I recommend going to a pho followed with a number for real food.

I love this place! I live in the area and frequent this restaurant. The friendly staff know my fiance and I well enough, and always greet us warmly. Tasty, filling pho and the peanut sauce with the spring rolls is spot on and also a little bit surprising. If youre in the area, it comes highly recommended from me. <3

The pho here is probably their best offering and it really isnt as good as more authentic Vietnamese restaurants on Federal. But, its close and it is pretty good so I say go for it. The other offerings, including the stir frys and the pad thai are pretty wimpy interpretations of the real thing and Id steer clear.

The eggrolls were so over-fried and tough that it was impossible to bite through them, so the Vietnamese eggrolls were trash. I expected the coconut chicken curry to be more saucy or brothy; it was spicy, full of peanuts and no sauce but moist. I have no desire to return. Btw fountain sodas are $2.50

Quick service and food is decent. Wasnt pleased with the noodle bowl and steak. Didnt seem authentic and not worth $8.95. The pho was a few dollars cheaper but havent had it yet. Went in before closing and was asked to sit next to the only other people in the restaurant.

Used to be good but is now pretty crummy. Soup was tasteless and bland - egg rolls were disgusting - tasted like they were fried yesterday and left out overnight. Wont be back I can tell you that. I had written 5 star ratings for them in the past but no more. Pathetic.
