They take their coffee seriously, in a good way. Batista know his stuff, extremely familiar with all the local coffee companies in town. Their house pour over changes daily. When I was there they were pouring a Honduras from Heart out of Portland. Was toasty with subtle notes of toffee and raisins. Very clean, simple, neat and cozy space. Extremely welcoming, next door to a breakfast restaurant, a brewery and a bar. Cool neighborhood for sure. The lighting is great. Big clear windows allow natural light to fill the space. If youre looking for a place to get a great cup of coffee in a relaxing modern place, come down here.

This place was alright IMO. I didnt have time to figure the place out before the Barista ushered me to the counter. He wasnt too explainitive of their Shop. $3 dollars for a medium americano and they cant add cream and sugar, plus i tipped before my order! This is white privilege. But the coffee DID taste amazing after meandering the sugar tray, and concocting my EYE OPENER. If youre looking for a quaint spot to bring a date in the a.m. this is the place. If youre a java junkie, find another spot. No wifi, refills, or customer service...

You know that moment first thing in the morning when your alarm goes off and you loathe getting out of bed? This coffee shop is the one place that makes that bad feeling go away. The coffee is smooth, full of flavor, never bitter or burnt tasting. The interior is bright, airy, and comfortable. Oliver is always behind the counter with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude. He actually seems to get pleasure from making the perfect cup of coffee for his guests. This coffee shop is a must try if you are looking for the perfect cup o joe.

This isnt much of a general store, it only sells coffee. Wait, what am I saying? This is the PERFECT general store! I initially found it the old fashioned way, by driving down Colfax and seeing the enormous sign reading "COFFEE SHOP" on top of the building. Though its the sign that brought me in, the flawlessly smooth latte I purchased is what will keep me coming back. The coconut macaroon I got to accompany it was a touch too salty, but lets be honest: its all about the coffee.

This is a great spot for a well made cup of coffee or espresso, and also a fantastic spot for the growing community of Colfax. Its not overpriced like some others have mentioned. The price is very reasonable for the quality. It used to be a flower shop, and although I loved walking by the flowers each day and was sorry to see it go, Im also very happy that its turned into a community space that, like many others, is making East Colfax a wonderful place to live.

This tiny coffee shop has great customer service and amazing coffee. I also had the ham and cheese croissant, which was excellent. No wi-fi, which was totally fine with me as I was meeting a friend to catch up. Also, solid music choices. Its hard to see the name of the place from the street, so just look for the little glass place that has a sign proclaiming "coffee shop" above it.

Cute & quaint coffee shop with great interiors. I got a shot of espresso that was wonderful, but I cant say the same about my boyfriends lukewarm Americano. I think calling it a general stores is misleading...Its a coffee shop that sells beautiful, rotating flower arrangements. I would go back if in the area, but overall I wouldnt go out of my way to revisit.

Great place with very thoughtful coffee selection. All are carefully chosen and generally unique to Denver, which is an excellent coffee town. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Pastries are fabulous from an excellent local Baker. Cant understand the one star savage review. Must have been a bad dream or just tripping.

Love this little place, the owner Oliver is such a sweetheart, great Espresso, friendly staff, and they even sell flowers in small mason jars! What nice little surprise that was. And the baked goods are so yummy. if you have any questions about coffee?? Well, they will be happy to answer and educate!! ❤️

We all know Colfax is a special place - yes the longest street in America, but its as if it was designed for uniqueness. What was missing was quality specialty coffee that could be enjoyed while facing a window into the world, characters, and ongoings of our city. Now we have that at Lula Rosa.

Meh. Ive ordered a chai latte and a mocha from this place, and both were lack-luster. Its got a cute interior and the staff were really nice both times Ive dropped in, but I dont go back cause I cant afford their prices only to be disappointed by another drink.

The best espresso in the neighborhood served up in a no-frills no-nonsense shop big enough for about 10 people to feel crowded. Their house-made cashew walnut milk is the best and the staff is super friendly and laid back. I love this shop!

This is the worst coffee shop that I have ever been to in Denver. The service was rude and pretentious. The coffee was awful, burnt, and over priced. Dont waste your time or money here. I would much rather go to Starbucks.

Lula Rose is my local coffee shop. This place is so cute! The lattes are some of the best Ive had in the entire city. Does not offer free WiFi which I see as a positive. It helps facilitate conversation between the shop guests.

Cool place. Tasty espresso, excellent coffee, and they have a good selection of pastries and changing flower arrangements. The space is a little pocket of brightness and warmth on busy east Colfax

Just moved to the neighborhood. Greeted with a friendly hello upon entering--which is always a huge plus for customer service. Coffee was smooth and delicious. Will definitely go back.

Authentic coffee, pastries and flowers. Crafted standard drinks - no overly milky and syrupy drinks here. Oliver, Andrew, et al are the finest of baristas and conversational partners.

Lack of customer service skills...especially in dealing with the older generation. Got turned away before being able to try the coffee, so we will give our business to others.

Favorite shop in Denver. Great space with a super great staff. Some of the best coffee drinks around, and not at all pretentious. Take a look here if you get a chance!

This is the coziest shop in Denver. Baristas are very friendly, and coffee is tasty, perfectly (lightly) roasted. The lack of Wifi makes for a good atmosphere.

Such a beautiful place with amazing coffee, I love coming here. But the baristas seem inconvenienced every time you talk to them which sadly ruined it fo me :(

It had one of the best lattes Ive ever had and is in a really cute space on Colfax that was previously inhabited by a floral shop.

Annoying staff. They cant put a lid on the drink apparently, you have to do it yourself on a wobbly cart and spill everywhere.
