Went in the morning to get a breakfast burrito and the breakfast burritos had not been made yet. Had to wait for them to be made; no big deal. The Deli did not have a cash drawer yet this morning and had to stand in line behind seven people to pay for a burrito. When I bit into my Barito later it had been made completely wrong. There is a Safeway closer to me at my work but there is a King Sooper closer to me at my home. So I often get to go into both. Even during rush hour at King Sooper I have never had to stand behind more than two or three people. They dont have the deli options that Safeway has but it doesnt matter when they can make it right to begin with. Also I have already brought this issue to the managers attention anyway. Lastly I am not sure if it is their policy to run one cash register in the morning or not but I ask one simple question, who goes in early in the morning to a grocery store? PEOPLE PICKING THINGS UP ON THIER WAY INTO WORK! I wish I had a King Sooper close by at work.

I was running late after work on 6-18-2017, it was 1154 and the two older ladies standing outside locked the door and said they were closed. When I confronted them about the time I was met very harshly with "I dont care, we are closed." I told her she was being very rude and she said "Oh well, go up to Kind Sooper. F*** off!" I called the manager that night and she didnt really react (maybe didnt believe me). I am on hold with corporate to make an official complaint (as directed by the manager on duty) as I write this post. No one should have to be exposed to that kind of language for any reason. She should be terminated, that is absolutely appalling behavior from an older lady! I will never shop at another Safeway, I will go up the road to Kind Sooper.

Went in today and tried to order Starbucks from the female barista at the Safeway for 8 people she looked terrified and said it would take a half hour and no one was ahead of us! We then watched as someone else came in and she made them a drink "since they only had one" She then let us know there is a real Starbucks in the shopping center across the street seriously! This girl may have been new but the management should not of had her working alone! We probably spend $500 a month there on Starbucks and bakery stuff for our office, not anymore! I tried to call and speak with a manger they transferred me 3 times but no one would pick up, I guess the management really doesnt care!

I have just gotten out of the hospital for pnemonia and stopped to get a few things for dinner for my family. The checkout guy was not too friendly and at the end of my transaction I mentioned being in the hospital (to explain bruises from the IVS on my arms). He practically dove for sanitizer, and shoved my receipt and change at me. Needless to say, in his haste, Im missing the important parts of my dinner, from the deli. Im tired, family hungry, and now nobody will answer the phone when i call. Used to LOVE Safeway, but this about ends it for me. King Soopers is only a mile away from this store...

2 stars for their customer service that I experienced today. When looking for an item there was absolutely no desire to help. The guy in the fruit /vegetable dept. just pointed me to another direction (the bakery) & the older gentleman who was clearly upset on the phone. Ive worked in customer service you dont bring your problems at work. He was obviously annoyed with me because I asked for help and he did the same thing the other guy did just pointed me away. I think Ill be making the extra drive to King Soopers where the employees are much happier and eager to help.

I was sitting by the Starbucks with my PTSD service dog in training who was wearing his "in training" vest and sitting quietly with me. The manager approached me and asked if he was a service dog. I said were working on it, he is in training. The manager then asked me to see his papers. I informed him its against the law for him to request my dogs paperwork and he told me only service dogs were allowed in the store and if I wouldnt show him paperwork then I couldnt have the dog in his establishment. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

The pharmacy is a hot mess. Called today around 3:30pm (10/16/16) and the lady who answered was so rude and disrespectful towards me because of my doctors miscommunication. My paperwork says I have 6 more refills while the lady scolded me saying she wouldnt refill my prescription. I read to her what my prescription said and she told me I was wrong and how shed love to see my documentation which Im not mad that she wanted to see all my documents. Its that she scolded me and was so snarky through the phone because of my doctors miscommunication.

Pan handlers hangout spot. I try to get in and out quickly when I do stop here. The management needs to do something about all the pan handlers and vagrants here. Most are scammers or have other issues like alcohol and drug use, I say this because Ive witnessed some of them hop into decent vehicles and drive off after begging for money, or seen them down the street drinking on the curb. Inside its a clean decent store and the staff are always polite.

They usually have everything I need at fair prices. The store is clean and well-organized. Produce is good. Seafood is hit or miss (and none of it is really American caught). I hate the new deli system that takes way longer (there is no pre-cut meat or cheese available). The bakery is good. While the general customer service has gone down since the merger with Albertsons, I love some of the friendly employees like Yuri, Iggie, and Rocky.

Has improved recently but still has long lines at times. Their selection is limited or lacking as well. This is an older location -- but it is a neglected location. I would advise anyone to try other grocers in the area first. I feel bad giving this Safeway such a horrible rating because they are literally a block away and I want to support them more. However a 1 star rating is being more than fair. This location is awful!

Clean store. Friendly staff. I love that they dont discriminate with employees, theres a deaf cashier whose so nice every time I see her. I didnt like that I bought a bag of potatoes there a little while back and they were rotting. I didnt notice until I got home but I brought them right back & was able to exchange them out.

The store is always clean and well stocked with a good selection of sale items. Their meat department is well maintained, and the prices are reasonable for their high quality. Jazz and the other cashiers are always nice, and if youre in a hurry you can check out at customer service to save time.

Three cashiers, two customers and me waiting at customer service for ten minutes to buy a money order. Manager was paged twice but never came so I decided to take my business elsewhere.. Then as Im almost out the door the manager stops me and asked me if I needed something... horrible service!!
