Before you read this, consider ordering from CHINA GOURMET. With Mandrin Chef Express, their food is alright, but the service is terrible. Ive had 2 bad experiences with this place, the first one being after eating there for a year, I got food poisoning. I decided to give them another chance this time and after ordering the lady told me it was $19. She called back 20mins later and said she forgot to add some things to my order and charged me $27... (Not my fault that she forgot to charge whatever, and with previous restaurants that made a mistake, theyve said, "Thats our fault, well cover that" To keep their business going.) I was upset but ignored it because I had previously enjoyed their food. The delivery guy finally came to the door and we only had 2 $20s. He said he didnt have any change and was going to take our $40 and come back with the change. Are you serious? What person would believe that? Why would a delivery guy not have change, WHAT DELIVERY GUY COMES TO THE DOOR WITH NO CHANGE??? After calling the store, they DROVE OUT to give him the change. The food is good, but not good enough to go through food poisoning and ridiculous customer service problems. If you want good food with no issues GO TO CHINA GOURMET. I ordered from Mandarin because they were closer, but for good food, good service and a little longer waiting time, order from CHINA GOURMET.

Love this place!!! My fav Chinese restaurant never disappointed!! The owners are awesome and always make sure everything is how I want it. The lady always makes sure i get white meat cuz Im super picky and so she knows every-time thats what I want lol. Near my house but best hole in wall Chinese place around !!! N the people that say its expensive ur retarded its not at all. N u get fresh food not some crap thats been sitting around like panda express we generally pay 25 for 3 people at lunch and a lil over 30 at dinner but soo worth it. Id say their only downfall is they dont have a soda machine just canned soda n it would be cool to get refills instead of drinking from a can but other than that cant complain decor sucks too but the food is so awesome who cares lol . Go here n eat n YOU wont regret it I promise. N if u dont like something just tell them they are nice people they will fix it for you no problem lol...Great food n Great people!!! :) oh n the portions are large just how I like em

Absolute worst experience ever from a Chinese restaurant! My family and I called in an order after a very long day of work hoping for good quality food and service from this location. My wife showed up to pick up the food and they already gave our food away to someone else!! I understand situations like this happen but when the owner told my wife that they would only give us the food at full price for THEIR mistake and not even offer a complementary soda or even an apology for making us wait longer for the meal we had been expecting...this is what Id expect from a fast food joint like Burger King or McDonalds but when Im paying at least $50 for a meal it as definitely unacceptable!

MCE is my go-to for order in Chinese food. For years now, I have ordered from MCE, and have had just about everything on the menu. The food is tasty - never had an order yet that came through that I found to be less than delicious. Ive had orders for over five people and theyve been able to get it out to me within an hour, as long as they have an on-hand delivery driver. There have been a couple of times where there hasnt been a driver on hand, but most often, they get it done up and right out to me. Pricing is about $12-13 a person on average, which isnt too bad overall for the area. If you want fast affordable Chinese and youre nearby, theyre a good spot.

over priced this year they more then doubled their prices what use to cost me 13$ now cost me 27$ then i call to order this past week their phone is broken cutting in and out and instead of fixing the problem they insist on yelling hello and appolegizing about it being broken A PHONE COST 10$ where is all the money we pay them from their extreme price mark up going ? the food hasnt gotten any better its no better then the fortuna inn down the road the only difference is the high cost and the fact that they have their poor son deliver im done with this place they have beong pXXXXd me off

OK food at OK prices. They consistently fail to deliver in a timely manner to homes less than a mile from their business. They have called, lost after an hour, I give them directions... again. And the food shows up luke warm with a grumpy driver. Not my fault that you cant put the address in a phone or GPS. They also often forget to bring sweet and sour sauce. They also have super bland Hot & Sour soup, and to get enough hot oil to make it palatable will run you a few extra dollars. They dont seem too keen on keeping long term customers.

The food here is garbage. I ordered general ts chicken, egg rolls, and the pu pu platter. The fried rice was mushy and barely had any carrots, peas, or eggs in it. The General ts chicken barely had any sauce no flavor. The egg rolls werent even real egg rolls they were spring rolls that taste terrible. The crab ragoon didnt have a trace of crab or scallions. The fried dumplings were pretty decent. The food here is Terrible! I make better Chinese food at home. I should start my own restaurant and put these guys out of business.

Great food!, I ate here because it was close to my hotel, was I ever so surprised in the taste of the food, I almost walked out when I saw the condition of the restaurant, and I am so glad I didnt, I ordered the wonton soup, fried and steamed dumplings, almost everyday I was there, I wish I lived near there just to get some more of that soup, it does not look like the wonton soup you get in any other restaurant, but boy does it taste good, maybe someday I will return to Colorado Springs, and when I do I will be eating here!

The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the rice and sweet and sour sauce were good. I called in an order of sesame chicken with fried rice, an order of egg rolls which were guewy and were the crapiest egg rolls Ive ever tasted in my life, EVER. And an order of crab cheese wontons which were the dryest nothing in them, shell remnants also the worst i have had in my life, Ive had better tasting wontons at the ho hos and all the dollar scoop places Ive ever been to. I wouldnt recomend this place to my worst enemy.

Most Chinese places like this have rude people on the phone - not here! The guy on the phone is always courteous and, most importantly, I can understand him. The food is outstanding - I love the dumplings, and Tsos Chicken. My wife likes the dumplings at China Gourmet better, but the person on the phone at that place is usually rude and I cant understand them. Mandarin Chef has made me a lifelong customer on their service alone!
