Wow, we just got fleeced!!! There are no prices here per scoop. No, they price their ice cream at $.073 per oz. That should have been a clue that we were about to get robbed, but hey, its vacation and the kids want ice cream. At any rate, the ice cream is only half decent and not very creamy which seems to indicate they dont actually use quality cream. I had strawberry cheesecake (with a modest side of ice crystals) and the family had snickerdoodlle, cake batter, and Pikes Peak path. Of the four, the snickerdoodle was the best (fair sized chunks of Snickers in a rather pedestrian vanilla ice cream), but truthfully, Ive had far better ice cream for far less money. Handels back home offers a 4 scoop (the amount we purchased tonight) sampler for $4.75 and they use rich cream and have almost 30 flavors! Furthermore, you can buy a quart of quality ice cream at your local grocer for $3-6 pending whether or not you have a coupon or its on sale. We spent $19.28 for 24 oz. -- 8 oz. shy of a quart!!! Given, the prices are probably priced for tourists in a town that sees lots of summer tourists with the nearby Garden of the Gods, but this is one place we wont be returning to during our stay.

I LOVE ice cream parlors, and this one was a real treat. My husband and I tried this one after dinner while we were on vacation. They make all their ice cream in house and had dozens of flavors. My husband is a vanilla loyalist and thought his vanilla was delicious. I asked for a sample of the red velvet and it was so good no other sample compared. Incredible and unique flavor, and the sugar cone was the perfect crispy contrast. Im still dreaming of this one and wish that: a) Decatur had ice cream parlors (sadly we are saturated with frozen yogurt places), and b) red velvet was not such a rare ice cream flavor. Although we didnt use it, the sundae bar was a cute concept. Enjoyed it and wish we could go back.

My son and I were walking by and he wanted some ice-cream, so we went in and tried a few flavors. My son choose peppermint and orange sherbet and I got Rocky Road and Raspberry chip. It cost $11-if the ice-cream were actually worth it it wouldnt be an issue, but my Raspberry chip tasted little like raspberry and more like vanilla with coloring and the Rocky road had only a hint of chocolate and no marshmallows. My sons peppermint had large shards of peppermint in it. He ate some of it and only ate the orange Sherbet. I only ate all of mine because of the cost. I wouldve given it a three but when I asked my son what he thought of it he said the girls behind the counter were not that nice. I agree.

Went in here to get a Vienna beef hot dog that they advertise. Went in and simply ordered two hot dogs with relish only. The worker then asked how many I wanted, and what I wanted. Multiple times. After finally telling her that we would just like two Vienna beef hot dogs both with only relish on them we received them. They were lukewarm and when I bit into it the middle was not cooked at all. The people working there were unable to either correctly take the order or create food meant for human consumption. Would not go back.

Quaint creamery in a old part of town. Was quick in and out, but imagine it could be a pleasant place to stop to get ice cream after waking around the town. The reason for the 3 stars is the menu was unclear the price of ice cream by ounce adds up quickly, especially when its being dished out for you, and you dont know the price or weight till you are checking out. 2 small bowls for $11+ for ok ice cream was a bit on the pricey side.

Good ice-cream. Selection was OK, not great. Convenient parking in back. Locked bathrooms was weird and awkward. One employee taking care of 20 customers while 2 or 3 other employees were making ice-cream and never helped with customers. No coffee. Waffle cones in a cup were too thick to break without power tools. Meh. An area like this should have better options.

This isnt only my favorite ice cream shop in Colorado Springs, it is my favorite I have ever been to. It is right on Colorado Avenue surrounded by family owned businesses and tourist shops making for a nice outing. I am loyal to the Cotton Candy flavored ice cream made at the perfect thickness. This is a must have in Old Colorado City!

If you get a chance to go here, DO IT. the ice cream is amazing with quite a few varieties. I have never had a bad experience and I do go at least once a month unless I have family visiting because then we go multiple times!!! I love the sundae bar. Simple but fun. It is completely worth the money.

Disgusting! The woman who owns this place is a retchid woman. I watched her scratch her butt crack and return to work without washing her hands, when confronted was told to leave her store. and that her parking lot was for customers only so I should leave. Never go here again!

Stopped in after dinner in OCC and spend some time talking about Star Wars with the gentleman behind the counter (always a good sign) before enjoying some delicious ice cream in a handmade wafflecone bowl. A definite must for a visit to Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs.

Kind of pricey, but its a cute little shop that serves great flavors. I absolutely LOVE their ice cream, plus, FREE toppings! Kind of tiny space, but no big deal. Their cones are also pretty good. I highly recommend this place! Oh, and the peppermint ice cream!

This place has some delicious ice cream flavors!! I had the key lime pie and my friends had the sweet cream and the birthday cake. They were sooooo good! The waffle bowls were delicious with the ice cream too! Nice little spot for a scoop or two.

I have been going here for years. It is the best ice cream in the city. Try the sweet cream, its really just the base of the ice cream without any flavors added. You will know why every other flavor is so amazing, because the base so good.

All natural ice cream, you can taste the difference between these and the packed junk. Tried mocha almond fudge and chocolate malt and both were awesome, do not miss if you are in the old Colorado City.
