This place is pretty great! A large selection of beers with an forever changing menu is great as you always have the chance to try something new! Even better, the drink prices are fantastic. I could enjoy a whole night out at just this spot and spend only $40! (And id like to think I could drink) The bar tenders are very attentive and responsive even on nights when they get swamped, and always welcoming. They do not have a kitchen, but partner with a couple of Uptown restaurants and you can order food and have it delivered to the bar! They would kill it if they partnered with more local restaurants. The atmosphere is a little dark, but not uncomfortably so. The music is just loud enough to be present, but not enough to make it hard to have a nice convo with friends over some drinks. Seating is slightly limited but not too inconvenient, unless youre with a large group. Overall, The Cellar gives a nice touch of modern to Uptown Whittier and makes myself and others with similar taste hopeful for the direction Uptown business and nightlife is headed in. Definately would recommend this place for a more intimate hang out with friends. Ill keep coming back as long as theyre there!

Another property owned by the Ramirez family, aka Ramirez Liquor & Kegs Delivery this establishment provides a mixture of not only a portion of their craft beer for sale, but also a hefty beer tap selection and wine as well. (no cocktails). Ive been coming here since the opening and the staff to Kim, Caroline and the rest provide top notch friendly service that makes you feel right at home. On Tuesdays they have a stout day which from a small refrigerator they sell hard to find beers that you can consume only in store, also Wednesdays are sours so its a win win! On occasion they have food trucks on weekends to help fill your stomach of good food and great beer. As for the beer selections, I would say youre going to get about 1/3 of what you would find here vs their full stores but they definitely do keep the most popular stuff on the shelves so it does help. On occasion youll find some rare gems from places not currently distributed to California, so expect to pay a bit higher in regards to some of these beers. Overall, thanks to Alex and the rest..I will be back..if Im not here already!

If you are looking for an awe-inspiring taproom bottle shop combo look no further! Between the absurd selection of beers to go and the masterfully curated tap list, this is a must see spot for any craft beer aficionados in the area! Unfortunately they have no kitchen, but word on the street is you can order food from the Bottle Room down the street and they will bring it to you!

Amazing atmosphere and amazing people huge selection . I mean huge huge like why isnt this place a craft bevmo. You can buy special crafts here to go and in the bar. Only place that stand toe to toe is "The Edison city ale house" in Tacoma washington. I think these peeps could be unstoppable together in sf.

This place is awesome, never once had bad customer service. This place is a tasting room, you need to get up and ask for your drink and walk yourself back. Whats so bad about that, some people think they have waitresses but they dont, and thats OK. Happy to see Whittier is heavy into the craft brew scene
