The ambiance is nice, but the service is horrible. We had a party of four. We asked for an open table on the deck, and they told us that it was only for a party of five. Shortly afterward they sat a party of four. We questioned the hostess about this, and she indicated that they were a party of five. After their food was served, and there were still only four people, we complained to the manager, who was very surly in his response saying “Why don’t you go ask them”. So I did. They told me that they were never expecting a fifth person. At this point, we had only ordered drinks, so we decided to leave. The manager said “Just leave, I’ll take care of the check”. On the way out, we asked the hostess why she had lied to us. At that point, the manager came over and said “Here’s your bill”. We reminded him that he said he would take care of it. He loudly said “You don’t even want to pay your bill! Just get out! “. We asked for both his name and the name of the hostess. He told the hostess that she did not have to give her name and refused to give his. We told him that we were going to complain to the owner about his behavior. He stated “Go ahead, I’m his son”. I was humiliated, and I will never return. We have several friends that frequent the restaurant, and I will be sure to tell them of my experience.

Just took my girlfriend there last night for her birthday dinner. Our server (18 year old kid with 0 experience) asked us if we wanted a drink 8 minutes after we arrived. We didnt see him agan for 20 minutes. I asked, "do we have a waiter?" He said, "yes are you ready to order?" I told him we had been for 20 minutes. He never appologised, just asked what we wanted. Said it would be right out. He never noticed my empty water glass. 15 minutes later we still didnt have the salad or any food we had ordered. Our waiter (kid with glasses) was paying all kinds of attention to a table of young girls he obviously went to school with. Theyre table was full of food. He was litterally playing with one girls hair! I was furious inside!!! I had to tell my girlfriend we couldnt stand for this and we just walked away from our table. MANAGEMENT STINKS! Cant say how the food is we never got any. The rolls are not anything special Ill say that.

Skip the Sushi. We were looking for a place to bring our Daughter for dinner and found The Landing with Google Maps. The location is very nice, outside dining was packed, but featured a very nice lake view. There is not much inside seating, so if the weather is bad, there will be little room to accommodate the people. It was busy on a Thursday night at 7 PM and we had a 15 minute wait for a patio table, but inside seating was available. It took a while for the water to come, but once we placed or order the food came quickly. My daughter ordered the sushi and the roll was HUGE. so big that you needed a fork and knife to eat it. She gave it a 2 out of 5 and did not finish it. My wife got the salmon and she said it was good, not great. I had the Chinese Chick Salad and it was very good but the portion was small. Bread was excellent, wine list was OK and expensive.

We have been going to The Landing Grill & Sushi Bar for years and every experience we have had, including our family and friends have been overwhelmingly positive. Sometimes they can be short on staff but overall the service has always been friendly, efficient and the food ranges from good to outstanding depending on the dish. Our personal favorites is the yellow tail collar salad, salmon delight, landing burger, the bento boxes, oriental chicken salad and my all time favorite dessert is the Pecan Streusel cake. The views are amazing from any table and prices are very fair.

No music... one of my guests arrived... 20 min later...flatline I got up to ask for someone to take an order..... our food came before my guests wine selection. P>S> the hardest working people were erecting umbrellas to shield patrons from the sun..... where were the patrons. no musicX3 hope they do something special on special days... ps..isnt everyday special. New to T>O> If it rains and they are the only rest open...Id rather walk in the rain....just sayin

Was there last night with a big party, we had to call the server over after 45 minutes to come take our order. My food arrived cold, we also ordered sushi and it wasnt very fresh. others within our party werent happy with their food either. They set us close to the side of an incline and it was dark. We had to use the lights on our phones to see our food and to move around our table.

My family and I love this place, weve been going at least once a week since the day they opened. Plum wine and saki is my favorite drink. Everything on the menu is amazing. Also if you get the BBQ chicken salad I highly recommend balsamic dressing instead of the ranch. It was their old dressing before they made the changes. I like it a lot better with the balsamic.

I hosted my daughters graduation dinner at The Landing. The food and service were perfect. The outside area is on the water the view is amazing. At night, they have heat lamps. I loved the waiters attention to detail for my daughter and her friends. Everyone ordered something different and all the dishes were really good. Highly recommend!

A duck attacked me - no kidding! they are walking around and my shoes must have been shiny or something but I swear a duck came at them and wouldnt leave - really. And no one came to help. The food was great, which is what is important I guess, but this was very peculiar and I havent wanted to go back since. Honestly.

How do you even compare the ambiance to anything else in this town? This place has it all. Great Italian food for the pasta lover and great Sushi for the fish lover all under one roof on a beautiful lake. Great for big parties, small intimate dinners, family events or just a quick bite to eat.

If you feel like eating some light sushi with a beautiful view then this is the place to go. The only reason i would give this place four stars instead of five is because ive had better sushi in other places (not that theirs is bad) but the view and ambiance definitely makes up for it

Id give the dinner rolls themselves 5 stars. I dont know what it is about this place but I dream about their rolls. They come out hot with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. The sushi is pretty good too and the location is perfect. Great place to have an outdoor summer dinner.

I go here with my family every so often to enjoy a great atmosphere and delicious food. It is located next to the lake and offers an amazing view. I dont believe the prices are fair for the quality but you arent just paying for the food.
