A LONG WHILE BACK I ORDERED A TO GO ORDER OF ALA CART ITEMS WHEN I GOT HOME AND PROCEED TO EAT THERE WAS A PLASTIC JUG RING IN MY FOOD WHICH I BIT INTO. I TOOK THE ORDER BACK . WHEN I GOT THERE THE OWNER WAS ACCUSING ME OF EATING THE WHOLE ORDER WITH OUT EVEN OPENING THE RETURNING ORDER, AND PROCEEDED TO REFUSE ME A REFUND. FAST FORWARD TO TODAY I CALLED AND GAVE THEM MY PHONE NUMBER TO PLACE AND ORDER AND THE MANAGER SAID YOUR THE LADY THAT ATE THE WHOLE ORDER AND DEMANDED REFUND AND HE DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE CORRECT STORY OF EVENTS AND HUNG UP ON ME, SINCE THE ORIGINAL TO GO ORDEAL I GAVE GOLDEN CHINA THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT AND HAVE EATEN THERE WITH OUT A PROBLEM AND HAVE ORDERED TO GO BUT I DONT BELIEVE THAT I WILL EVER EAT THERE AGAIN NOT FOR THE REASON OF THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD. BUT FOR THE MANAGERS RUDENESS AND INABILITY TO TELL THE TRUTH!

I went to dinner here yesterday with family, and Im surprised by the low reviews here. The service was great, our food came out fast and it was really good! We had the szechuan scallops, general chicken, sweet and sour pork, and veggie chow mein. Unlike other chinese restaurants Ive eaten at, none of it tasted overly salty, and even after eating a whole ton I didnt feel "bogged down" after we got home. If were to trust some of the other reviewers it would seem like this place might be hit-and-miss, but the first time I went yesterday our whole group raved about how much they liked it! Im definitely going to go again (probably for the lunch special), and when I do Ill update this review.

Ordered Kung Pao chicken, it was decent. It wasnt overly oily which was nice, but the chicken to veggies ratio was off... not enough chicken, too many veggies (and Im saying this as someone that loves veggies and lives on an organic farm). My other issue was that it was actually a little under-flavored if you can believe it, and at $11.75 was a bit on the pricey side. It also was not spicy, even though it had some of those little red/black chiles in it. I eat the chiles typically, but these ones had NO flavor or spice. Weird. Overall: not bad, but I probably wont go back. I dont live in Watsonville (just work here) so I have the luxury of going somewhere else!

My family and i have been coming here for as long as i can remember. I never knewhow RUDE the manager/owner could be. I tried to make an order through the phone and HE HUNG UP ON ME! Didnt try to explain other options and once i got to the place (because i actually ended up going in) he apparently did not understand what i was trying to order. Long story short the staff is VERY WONDERFUL and HELPFUL but the "business man"/owner dissapointed me with his professionalism.

Im been a regular costumer for the last 3 years, This is my 4th time this year in this restaurant, the service the service was the worst ever, table was dirty,after we seat we have to wait for 50 minutes to be ask for our order (i tolerated cuz was my daughter birthday and she loves that place ) food was cold, server never return after we order, we have to get up and go to the front to pay, they used to be a really good restaurant, but no anymore,

Overcooked, odd tasting food. Piles of vegetables and very little meat. Noodles so overcooked, they were gummy. The egg rolls tasted poor and the sweet and sour sauce that came with them was thick and gummy and tasted weird, like it came out of a jar. Even the tea was over brewed and bitter. It came to the table already made as if they had brewed it hours beforehand and it sat there getting stronger and stronger.

I ordered $44.00 worth of rice, etc. I waited for over 45minutes and the food never showed. I then called and the girl said they called three times to tell me the credit card was declined. I checked my phone and only one called showed lasting 20 secs. Then they said they would re-order it and have it over in 25 minutes as they were only 10 minutes away. Liars and terrible home delivery service.

I was staying at one of the local hotels and I ordered this Chinese food and they came very quickly within 30 minutes but they didnt give me no noodles just my size and the whole point of Chinese food is in noodles so I called back and ordered and they charge me for the noodles and they said go somewhere else

I tried to order delivery... too late. The last driver had just left. I was going to pick up my food, but decided I shouldnt drive, so called in to cancel my order. The owner asked where I lived (within a mile or two), and delivered my food personally! Thank you! Golden China is the best!!!

I have been eating at this restaurant for many years and the food is always excellent, outstanding and delicious. Awesome service, delicious food and fast delivery. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes Chinese food!!

Great Chinese restaurant. This place really deserves at least 4 stars! Dont let the fairly low ratings steer you away, this place is one of the greatest Chinese restaurants Ive tried. It does get hot in their dinning area though.

The food is decent, but some of the worst customer service I have ever gotten. When my order wasnt prepared right and I informed the manager he cursed at me and refused to refund my order. Will never eat there again.

Deep fried chow fun and combination fried rice. Fabulous! I am not a fan of the rest. Runny thin sweet and sour, flavorless vegetable dishes. Good customer service, quick preparation, clean restaurant.

Deserves no stars. Got the squid with black bean sauce... the beans honestly tasted like they were spoiled and burnt. Asked the waitress about it and she said thats just how they are. Do not recommend.
