As a British transplant to Venice I can confirm that these chips, or fries as you people like to call them, arent just authentic, they actually exceed the British standard. As for the reviewers bemoaning the high calories there are plenty of other establishments in LA where you can order a kale and balsa wood salad. Maybe dont eat here every meal, but a single box, is a pretty sensible portion and a perfectly healthy lunch. Highly recommended.

Used to really like this place. Went today for myself and coworkers and it was absolutely disgusting - seems they now employee semi homeless people w questionable hygiene - homeless friends dropping by and block access to front window. Told me 15 minutes ended up waiting 40. Very sad that this has happened to one of the formally best f&c places in town. Clear owner no longer cares. Will not be back.

I was happy to stumble across this little gem on the boardwalk. I got their fish and chips which I thought were pretty, though they really paled in comparison to the fish and chips that I had when I was in the UK. You can definitely tell their fries are fresh and hand cut. I didnt really think their fancy garlic salt was very impressive, but the potions they give you are generous and I enjoyed the fish.

I grew up eating fish and chips so this upscale version is a very welcome addition to my LA life. I usually just get the chips but the fish is very good too. They have a bunch of different seasonings and Ive liked all of the ones Ive tried but rarely go past the rosemary and parmesan. It can be slow but the service is always friendly and the food is worth the wait.

ive traveled to the UK and Im telling you the fish and chips here are ON POINT. along with the thick cut steak fries with multiple seasonings and dips... you really cant go wrong. it is a lot of food though. you can also just order 2 large pieces of fish and that is decently filling itself.

Service is garbage. Dude at the window had a rediculious attitude even after wed been waiting over 20+ minutes for fries alone. Would have been 1* but the fries were damn good. Go for the food but, DO NOT expect even a fast food chain level of service.

Great fish and chips. Beer battered fresh cod and homemade fries. The menu has a few items but those few are done good. You can add toppings to your fries. Ranging from truffle oil to rosemary. Tartar sauce is tasty with not too much dill.

A walk-up window near the Venice Boardwalk serving generous portions of fish and chips. A cornucopia of sauce and vinegar options (unlimited combinations?) to go with your food. Seating is limited, but people watching is unparalleled.

Good fish and chips...and reasonably priced. My only complaint was that the fries were way too salty. May have just been the applewood smoked variety...parents purchased the garlic fries and they were great.

Fries are fantastic, truly. The truffle mayo is a dollar extra and totally worth it. Could be 2 dollars extra, wouldnt care. A regular size is enough for two people, unless youre dedicated to potatoes.
