The 20 dollar bill looked the same as the last one I spent on a combo seafood salad but the Salad didnt Who puts tomatoes on the bottom of a salad, and salad is pushing it. Bagged greens with lots of red cabbage. Had I ordered a seafood coleslaw my plate would have been more representational of what I received. Staff is very friendly and its a comfortable place to visit. I dont know if Im willing to throw another 21bucks on the table for a lackluster prefab. Salad. It also leaves me wondering if anyone in Vallejo has ever had an Ice cold beer. Truth be told though the sardine can is about the best place to eat in this third world city..Brad

For the past 10 years, I hAve enjoyed dining at this Resturant. I have taken friends and family there also. To a person, they fell in love with the food and the ambiance. My last three visits were disappointing. The service was abysmal, the salad horrible, and when I finally got a spoon, the soup luke warm . I am not sure if they are having difficulty finding quality servers, if they have new chefs... whatever the issues are, I hope that they can pull it together soon and return the venue to the special local spot that it once was. At this point, five loyal customers (lunch four times weekly) are stepping away for awhile.

Very good a good beer and drink selection. Fresh seafood. But watch out for the fried veggie appetizer. Its a beer or soda battered nightmare. I dont know if they are not cooking at the correct temperature or the batter is not good or actually they are not draining the grease at all. It will literally make you sick. I think some of the other seafood is cooked in this method. Fresh greens salads everything else is good. But the beer batter is shite.

The Sardine Cans waterfront location and casual atmosphere make it the perfect spot to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is good, the service is friendly and prices are affordable. My favorite meals: biscuits and gravy or a BBQ bacon cheese burger served with a side of their homemade clam chowder! And if you love fish and chips or have a craving for a fabulous crab sandwich the Sardine Can is known for having the best in town.

Ribeye steak, or fish and chips, you cant go wrong here. Newly remodeled interior and friendly service make this local favorite a treat to share with out if towners. Dog friendly outside seating and harbor view from the inside - a great place to sip a beer in the sunshine or hunker down with a bowl of chowder in the rain.

After waiting for over an hour for our food, it ended up being cold. Nachos were sent back because the cheese was cold, they were just warmed up(microwave) not remade. The burger was slightly warmer then the pickles. The fries were the best part..... but I can get those anywhere. I would not recommend it.

We have dined here several times, it is less than a half mile from home which makes it an easy choice. The food is really good, the atmosphere is relaxed & perfect for families as well as couples and when the weather is nice there are outdoor tables, service is great as well. I suggest you try it out.

I visited with two friends. One had been there before and had breakfast and that is what we thought we were going to have. They only serve breakfast on the weekend. We settled for lunch. The barbecue bowl was a hit. I had the Rueben. The cole slaw was spicy which was unnecessary.

Top of the list for Fish and Chips!... the most tender, light (regular) batter, best flavor out of all other fish and chips Ive tried... Ive been coming here off and on since the early 90s for breakfast or lunch and dinner, and I cant ever remember being disappointed...

Went with friends to celebrate my birthday. It is small but feels like a place you want to go to for a special occasion. The menu was prix fare and was prepared in front of us. We did the wine pairing with the dinner and found the food and wine to pair very well.

Famous for their pizza. I recommend the Tonys Special. Their Minestrone Soup, Italian Wedge Salad, Gluten Free Penne option are, also, some of my favorites. A cold day, a warm day, or an indulge day... theyve got something delicious for EVERY day. Buon appetito!

Cool relaxed atmosphere. Beware of the Cajun Fettuccine it was super hot. They described it as spicy it should have been Atomic. I couldnt eat it my husband being Macho man switched dinners with me and he couldnt eat it either. Good service great dessert.

Why go anywhere else? Always excellent food and good service. I typically order the Good Day Burger with potato salad...wife will get side of bacon, extra crispy, and a side of sweet potato fries. Sounds boring, but will continue to visit this place.

I eaten her twice and the food is great. Probably better than you might think when you first see the place. There was live music the second time there and the saxophone player walked out to the outside deck while playing so we wouldnt miss out!

Food is good but service has been hit or miss. Sometimes servers are attentive, other times you wonder if they forgot you. Always crowded, parking hard to get as its very limited so you might have to wait for someone to leave.

I have to say the best drinks in town bar none. The best Long Island drink by far period, and yes 10 times better than Alexander Steak House that uses premix last time we were there and in no hurry to go back to Alexanders.

Totally kick Ass breakfasts at a reasonable price! Always consistent. The hash browns are always done right golden both sides and I have never had a scorched egg (a breakfast pet peeve of mine), great staff as well.

This place is for you if, you like slow service, empty drinks, cold food and hair in your food, and if you never like seeing a waitress. And it wasnt even busy. Pretty disappointed.
