MUST READ! It was tuesday 3rd of march 2015.This place opened @ 5:00 PM Me and My Brother went there to have food.They have no buffet @ this time. The waiter comes after long time and takes order(not to forget he does not write the order) we ordered soup and chicken salad as starters.Main course was lamb Biryani,side was NAAN and Chicken Tikka.(Tandoor). Then the The waiter comes after long time and takes order. then the waiter gives some water and vanishes into thin air.There is definitely lack of professional staff in this place. then he brings the Biryani,but when we searched for our plates,we found none. Then we asked him to get us plates.whe we ordered for 2 biryanis he brings only 1 and says hey you ordered only 1!No paper napkins present on the table.when asked for them they give big tissue papers.after we finished eating biryani he brings chicken tikka.when we said him we are done he asked us to try and made us eat this shitty chicken tikka.Below is the ratings for the food we ate.................... 1)Lamb Biryani......................................................3/10 2)Chicken Tikka.....................................................-ve/10 3)Chicken salad....................................................7/10 4)Naan..................................................................-ve/10 Overall service.......................................................2/10 Value for money.....................................................4/10 I saw the reviews on yelp,thats how i fell prey to them.I think yelp maintains fake reviews on their web page

Saturday March 4, 2017: Takes pretty long to get naan, you have to ask for it once you get there and ask again for refills. They dont regularly refill it. They did refill my water plenty. Food was slightly above average indian buffet quality. Service was bad. Told one of the staff members thanks, a few minutes later he comes to my table and mumbles something real fast and speeds away. As I am eating dessert, the same staff member and another guy stare at me and point at me. That was rude, just straight staring at me and nobody else. After Im done eating and pay for the bill, I ask him what he said to me. He has a deer in headlights look and says its not a big deal. I insist that he tell me what he said but he keeps at it with the no its ok, its ok, basically avoiding the question. This was when I realized he didnt say something nice nor friendly. If he said something of that nature, why would he not want to repeat himself, instead he avoids the question and tries to walk away while Im talking to him. Very rude, the guy who mumbled at me and ran away was the same person who deals with the checks.

This restaurant is right next to my apt. So I frequently order take outs from this restaurant. Qty offered is very good. The chicken dishes that I order come with rice and is sufficient for 2 ppl. You can customize the spice levels for take out orders. The chicken biryani that I ordered however was not good. The weekend buffets are good. Good options for both non vegetarians and vegetarians. But the spice levels are mild. The menu is North Indian.

Visited this restaurant for dinner. Had the Paneer tikka and veg kurma along with an assortment of breads. Some of the breads were a little burnt. The restaurant duly replaced it . Service was very prompt. The veg biryani had too much turmeric which was dominating the taste a little but still tasted really good.appetizer plates were priced low but good enough for a group of 4 .

I was in Hayward to pick up my taxes and stopped by this place because I was super hungry and craving Indian. Everything was decent and they had drinks and dessert included in the price if 10 bucks, but the food is just basic and the quality was just OK. There are other places Bombay garden buffet, 10 min away where you pay $1 more and the quality is superior.

We searched for a buffet last night for like 30 minutes and decided on this place. Right when we walked we were greated by very friendly waiters who made us feel very comfortable. And the food was awesome. Ive never been to such a good buffet. You wont regret it! I dont usually write reviews but these people really really deserve it. Enjoy!

Unironically, this is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. The food is phenomenal. The staff seem to truly go above and beyond to try and accommodate your every need even if youre just in picking up food to go. The food is spectacular and so is the service.

few days ago, we came to FIR for dinner and we really had delicious food with variety of dishes. At the end we had some Chai and Ice cream for kids and we paid very fair price to what we had...we are looking forward to come back again....Awesome hopitality.

I dont know about anything else. However, their buffet was AWESOME!! $9.95 PLUS TAX you get so much. They even give you cone ice cream, any soda, ice/hot tea, soup and hot naan. Also, the service was great. I will come again when i visit CA again.

They have a pretty good all you can eat buffet with a wide selection of food to choose from. The buffets are only on the weekend, and the lunch buffets are much cheaper than dinner - so go for lunch! They also have the best mango ice cream.

They are truly our favourite Indian restuarant. Excellent buffet with good vegetarian and meat offerings. I took a VERY picky sister with all sorts of food restrictions, and she stuffed her face! Friendly to children.

Cant vouch for authenticity at all, but this really is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Friendly service, good selection for AYCE, and mango froyo is a plus. Enjoy the Bollywood playing on the TVs.

They basically reheat the leftovers for the night and serve them in the morning. Chicken they serve is somewhat tough. During the buffet most of the food ia just gravy and guess what? Reheated leftovers.

Located across the street from Union City BART. Its convenient for lunch or dinner. I go when there are discounts offered by that other restaurant review company and Groupon.
