Had high expectations due to what others have said, but my fiancee and I were really disappointed during our visit, mainly by the service. We got bar seats due to every table having reservations, which was fine. We were only the second ones in the door when it opened (were hoping for a table so got there early and stood for a while) but funny enough we were the last to have our orders taken. We were the only ones carded for drinks (were 30) despite younger looking people sitting at the bar. There was a pregnant woman at the end drinking wine that didnt get carded hmm. We got 2 drinks each, apps, soup, salad, and the fish entrees (my fiancee ordered the most expensive fish dish on the menu). But funny enough, we were just getting our appetizers when the elderly couple next to us were nearly finished with their entree. Another couple ordered the same appetizers as us, but got them 15 minutes before us. The bartender basically ignored us the whole time. Was trying to get her attention to see if maybe the kitchen dropped our ticket, but she refused to make eye contact. We arrived at 4:45, and did not receive our entrees until 6:20. The food was good, but not 60$ per entree good. When we were ready to pay all of a sudden the bartender was all over us, asking us "wasnt the food delicious?!" Yeah, it was ok, but still couldnt figure out why we were treated so poorly. But for a place that seemed like it was pandering to a 55+ crowd, figured it was an ageist issue. We were the last ones out from the first group of people in the restaurant, despite being the second couple to be seated. In addition, the alcohol was not cooked out of the sauce in the Scallops Rockefeller, the cucumbers in the salad were nearly cut from the cucumber lengthwise and were way too thick (at least 6" pieces, cumbersome to eat) the tomato bisque was incredibly salty. The entrees were alright. The drinks were the only good part (got the pepperoncini martini, the almond orange margarita, and the Dorian Grey). Wont be going back, avoid if youre under 45.

If you want a romantic place to go for dinner in Trinidad with a great view of the ocean, this is it. Almost all the tables have great views, though the corner table is the best. I had a steak that was pretty good. The vegetables werent very good. The potato was OK. I had the lava cake for dessert and it was pretty good as well. The service was good by all of the staff except our waitress. She spent almost no time with us and we had to rely on the rest of the staff for help. Luckily they were very good. Quiet and cozy, this is a nice place for dinner with pretty good food.

Some of the best food I ever had in my life. Growing up in New England I have had some of the best lobster (lobstah) and oysters, last time at Moonstone we must of had 4 orders of the raw oysters and had a surf and turf that came with a lobstah tail and in my opinion it was the best I ever had! A little pricey but well worth the fox and experience!

Phenomenal food and atmosphere. I stumbled onto this place when my phone broke and I was using a map to get back home from Oregon. Came back recently and it was just as good as I remembered. My girlfriend wasnt happy about adding some hours to our trip but quickly changed her mind when we arrived.

The Broiled oyesters, Bigeye Tuna, and the Créme Brule were easily each the best of their kind. Service was phenomenal. We are content in knowing we have now experienced what was quite possibly the best oceanside dining in our lives thus far. Fantastic job friends - see you next spring.

Went for happy hour on Saturday with a group of friends. We got there before the doors opened at 5. Glad we did because it was packed and happy hour only served at the bar. The drinks were great and the prices even better. Great service, drinks, and food.

Went for graduation dinner. Easily one of the best meals I have ever had. Beautiful location and the service was fantastic, I barely noticed the staff as they set and bused between plates and ordering was an enjoyable interaction.
