Posted on Yelp and Corp Office: A group of 12 of us went to Tracy Texas Roadhouse for lunch. The food was good, I have no complaints about that .. but .. after we paid and were back at work looking at the receipt to divide it up, we noticed they listed 13 people in our party and charged us for 13 meals and 13 drinks. Yet they only brought out 12 meals and 12 drinks. I called the restaurant and spoke to both the manager on duty and the waitress and explained the situation. They asked me no questions (I mean absolutely no questions .. when were we there, what did we order, which one was wrong, etc) and do not act one bit surprised (they acted like it was commonplace). They did credit me for the extra charges but I cant but think it was done on purpose because 13 people, 13 meals, 13 drinks but only 12 meals and 12 drinks made it to our table. I also cant help but wonder how many times this has happened and the customer didnt catch it. I called Texas Roadhouse Corp but was told they couldnt help me because the restaurant belonged to a franchisee. They gave me a number to call, I did. Someone was supposed to call me back within 48 hours. Its now been 3 weeks but no one ever called. I guess they just dont care. If you eat at the Tracy Texas Roadhouse, youll like the food but watch your receipt carefully to ensure youre only charged for what you should be.

Fabulous place, food and service and glad we took the risk. This is not a sit down and have a quiet lunch together kind of place. It is a joyful, family inclusive knees up of a joint work character helped by the friendly staff. There are some tellys near the bar for sports. The first thing youll notice is the peanut shells on the floor. Then the large barrel of peanuts for you to help yourself. You get more at the table too. I had the 3 medallions steak, cooked medium and there was no fat in these. Simply perfect. Comes with 3 sides and peppercorn sauce. 2 of the sides were used by other family members. The fully loaded sweet potato fully loaded is a sweet affair. A sweet potato with syrup and toasted melted marshmallow on top. The salmon was top notch though the downer on the meal was the large amount of salt on fries. A salad was eaten and was rated excellent by the vegetarian in the group. The staff were majestic throughout and were happy to engage the kids and ensure we were all having a good time. Can happily recommend and return to this establishment. The price was cheaper than I expected and value for money. .

EXCEPTIONAL ... service from Ashley ! I traveled to Tracy, CA to see one of my beautiful girls to have a nice dinner ... but WOW im still amazed by the level of personal service received by Ashley (on the left), she provided one of my funnest and maybe most memorable dining experiences ever !!! LOL ... i was throwing peanut shells on the ground, tossed some at Ashley too (she turned right back to me and said "just dont hit me in the face or youre gonna pay!" as she flashed a HUGE

I was pleased at first friendly and everybody Danielle behind the bar friendly suggestion to popcorn shrimp I got it it was good that she kept rushing me about getting a steak and I told her to wait twice wasnt ready didnt know if I was going to be hungry enough she wanted to hurry up and get me out of there so she could get a tip like thats all they care about tips its busy and there it wasnt too busy at the bar sat there felt like I was being rushed finally ordered a steak on Danielles suggestion the ribeye bone in I wanted it medium they came out medium but it came out really hard and fat all around it wasnt pleased I wanted to get another steak I thought you know what I dont want her to give me any dirty looks and give me a hard time and trust me even more so I thought Id just leave wasnt pleased with the steak all I wont be coming back should have went to Black Bear Diner across the street

Jeremy really took charge. They brought out all food for my friend and I... Except my steak. Took about another 10 minutes and he was on them about it non stop. On top of taking care of the bar and never forgetting I had cherry flavoring added to my coke. He deserves a raise and/or promotion. Need more waiters and waitresses like him, but instead they usually stand around chit-chatting instead of making sure things are made right. No offense, but he was on them about it, and making sure we were good and taken care of even more then the manager. Without you this would have easily been a 1-2 star review. Thank you again Jeremy! Terrible experience today at TR. Called ahead at 5:18 pm. Checked in at 5:35 pm and was told 10 minutes. We waited another 55 minutes while many people who came after us got seated. Finally got seated and it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered, the steaks were not cooked enough, the steak sauce that we asked for did not come, the ranch for our onion appetizer did not come, the potatoes were microwaved, and one of out guests did not get his second side order. Typically our dinners at TR have been pretty good. Tonight sucked. Do they have a new manager???????????? If so they are not doing a very good job.

Ya, I like this place.... The food is good and where else can you throw your "nuts around and not get into trouble...!" This is definitely a meat lovers restaurant. They have all kinds of great steaks and prepare it the way you want. Ive never had a bad meal here and the waitresses are friendly too. It does get kinda messy here with everyone elses shells but who cares, everyone is having fun and enjoying a great meal. The only downside I have is that they salt their steaks sometimes a little to much and if you ask them not to it seems to fall on deaf ears. Thats my only gripe here. :-)$$

The food is acceptable if you like it salty. Everything has way too much salt. Its loud, too, so if you need to take folks out that you dont particularly want to talk to, this is the place. The final drawback is the "reservation" system. You call in, get a number, and get there at the time youre told to show up and then WAIT... Go on a SUnday afternoon and sit in the bar with a beer and a baseball game on one of the TVs and you wont be disappointed. Go with good friends or family or, gasp, a date on any night of the week and prepare to regret it.
