Ive eaten here about 3 separate times. So, food is okay - good. The last time, i ordered two breakfast plates, they made a mistake on one of my orders. A big mistake. It was a completely different meal. I had already waited 20 min. They were so confused, walking back & forth with the plate, trying to figure whos mistake it was. I offered to just take the plate, to avoid the wait and them having to trash the food but i wanted to pay the price of the meal i had originally ordered since it was their mistake. The meal was only a couple $ dollars less. They refused and kept walking around with the plate while conversing over it the entire time. Finally, after now waiting another 10 min for them to figure it out, I just said leave it and ill pay the full price for it (+$2). It was rather disappointing. THe meal wasnt even hot anymore. I took it home in a to-go bag because of the long wait and literally it was a waste. This experience was awful. I gave it two stars because the coffee was good and the French toast breakfast. Everything else was a miss!

So happy that theres a Salvadoran place in Tracy! The first time I visited was after a long day of commuting from San Francisco. My mom and I went around 8:30pm, greeted one of the waiters, and looked at the menu to place an order to go. Turned out they were closed at 8! No one told us until we tried to place an order.. And it didnt help that their was no sign indicating their hours. A week later, they posted their hours, and we got to place our order. We ordered the ensalada tropical and three pupusas. They were delicious! I especially enjoyed the cilantro dressing with the salad. And the curtido and salsa that came with the pupusas were also scrumptious. Café Plátano is open very early in the morning, which is why they close early at night. Get there early when you can!

This is the best Salvadoran food close to Stockton. I havent had restaurant pupusas as good as these since Los Panchos used to be open. It tasted like I was eating dinner with my grandfather and grandmother. My food was full of flavor. The food was almost as good as homemade by a little old lady in the kitchen. It was close. They even made quesadilla (Salvadoran sweet bread). The service was excellent and fast. This place is all together wonderful. I ordered the tipico plate ; Two pupusas.....one jalapeño and cheese....and one chicharron (fried pork) and cheese. It also came with traditional Salvadoran beans and rice. It was delicious! ! !

First time I had El Salvadoran food in Tracy. The restaurant is roomy and spacious. However, the tables and chairs definitely has some miles on it. The place was packed when I went on a Sunday night, tip to owner: time to invest in some new restaurant seating. On to the food, it was ssooooo good. I ordered the pupusas filled with pork and another with cheese, delish. Wifey ordered the grill chicken and she loved it.

What a find! We were passing through and had stopped for rv service at the nearby Freightliner. First time having Salvadoran food. Waitress was very helpful with recommendations. The food was delicious and plentiful. The salad was fresh and beautiful and delicious as well. We were so happy to have such a nice lunch experience instead of just grabbing a quick bite!

I have used them for catering a party. Being Salvadorian myself and my family owning several restaurants down south i can say this is authentic salvadorian food and some of the best out there. If you have never tried salvadorian food now is the time. Irecommend to try our famous Pupusas does not matter what kind you will love them.

I ordered casamiento, and instead I got fried beans.So they said they would give me the casamiento but when I was done eating my food ,then the waitress came and gave me the casamiento, and they even charged us for IT. The good thing about it was the food. Especially the plátanos. Overall they do have good service

The service isnt bad. Food is delicious. Big portions. Sometimes the wait time to get your food is a little long but it only happens when they are super busy. A little pricey, but its the best Ive had since eating at the Salvadoran restaurants in San Francisco.

So happy theres an authentic Salvadoran restaurant in town! The pupusas and tamales are delicious. Everything Ive tried is great, but I mainly come here for that. The service is good too. I used to have to go to the Bay Area to find good Salvadoran food.
