Absolutely terrific food at prices so low they surprised me. The young family who owns the restaurant are the sweetest, most charming people around. Mom and dad are in their thirties I think, and their two boys, who sometimes answer the phone and greet customers, are in grade school in Thousand Oaks. The grandmother is a crack up and the grandfather hangs around outside and reads the Chinese newspaper. Every waitress is extra friendly and polite with great service. This is the best Chinese food in Thousand Oaks. Give these people your business! Great dishes include the wor wonton soup, happy family, any shrimp or fish dish because there shrimp and fish are always very fresh, and I like the beef or pork Lo Mein. My friend told me he really enjoyed the orange chicken.

Stopped by for lunch. Very limited seating and parking may pose a problem at times. Basic interior. Hot and soups opines very good. Not too starchy and plenty of goodies inside. Also had a nice amount of bite by the end of the cup. They also served crunchy noodles as a starter. Unlike other establishments, these were crisp and crunchy. Egg foo young was a different take. The egg mixture was fried driers rely with what looked tone minced onions and perhaps some cabbage. The Vegas were then served on the side of the egg patties. Sauce was good and light. Overall a successful dish.

We had a veggie with soft noodles and spicy and pungent chicken. They changes the crispy noodle because of a gluten free diet. It was ss I would expect it. The chicken was not spicy, but had good flavor. I live too far, so I never expect to ne able to try other dishes. It is a small place, but very friendly. Go enjoy a good meal if you are in the area.

Tasteless, less than mediocre takeout food. Could NOT find a single shrimp in my lobster sauce. Im still hungry but cant even think about taking another bite of it. Cant understand why so many reviewers are wild about this place. I will never order from there again.

The Shanxi Mianpi was really good. Best dish in the house. This dish alone is enough to bring me back. Go to this restaurant to overload on carbohydrates. Every dish has tons of noodles. Wish they offered more vegetable dishes to balance out the meal.

Really fast, polite service. Good prices for the amount of food received... Free sides of rice and refills on them. Food was yummy (we tried the sweet and sour pork and Szechuan chicken). Well be back.

Great food at a great value. Nice for a family meal or just to pop in for lunch. They also do take out (delivery or pickup). As a huge plus, Ive never, ever had a bad service experience!
