I reserved the party room for a business dinner during a trade show week. We had guests from China visiting and wanted to treat them to something familiar while they were away from home. Since it was near the Chinese New Year, we wanted to make the meal extra special for our guests. I was able to talk with the manager and we added a special dish to the menu which was very appreciated by our guests. All the food was prepared fresh and well! Our table was bursting with plates full of food! The price was hard to beat also. We fed more people, had more left overs, and paid significantly less than the night before at a popular local steakhouse. I took home left overs to my parents after the event and they enjoyed them for a few days. We were very impressed! Thank you New China, we will be back!

This is maybe the best Chinese food Ive eaten ever anywhere. Fresh, Fresh, Fresh and tasty at all levels of spiciness. The decor was bought personally by Mary, the owner, in Hong Kong. I know because I asked about the beautifully embroidered silk screens and wall coverings. Great for vegetarians as well as carnivores. Mary has developed what she calls the Three Mushroom Tofu dish which is fabulous and everyone (even folks who dont particularly like tofu) rave about the peppered fried tofu. Even my Los Angeles friends look forward to a dinner at New China

I come to Visalia for work about once or twice a week. Every so often I will eat Chinese food here and the food is always consistently great as is the service. Very clean and peaceful place to have lunch. The prices are great and you will almost always need a to go box from the nice size servings they give.

The Hostess/Cashier was So Rude! A family was seated next to us & requested a booth instead & she Snapped at him it was Embarrassing to us! We waited almost 40 mins to get a menu! We were about to leave when the younger waitress came and attended to us. She was much nicer but We Will Never Return!

good food for visalia compares to others, i am from los angeles and have been looking for a comparably good chineese restaurant. i had been unsuccessful until finding this location. id say the food compared to la places is a 6/10, but it is the best i could find out here. pretty sure tried them all.

Beautiful decor, comfortable atmosphere and most importantly, delicious food! I got shrimp in lobster sauce and the lady got Mongolian beef. Looking forward to going back.
