Parking: Many spots, but its just busy during mornings and afternoons. When it comes to the coffee shop itself, Id have to say that its pretty darn delicious. Sometimes, the line goes out the door, which is OK since it moves quickly. Ive had the mint mojito and its so refreshing. Pretty cool how customers can customize drinks to their liking. Theres a good amount of seats and tables, as well as plentiful outlets for your electronics. Baristas are welcoming, friendly and easygoing. If youre interested in walking around Westborough Square, there are other eateries to venture to, such as Quicklys, Pho Saigon, Five Guys, Tokyo Sushi, Goldilocks, Ngs Cooking, and even Paris Baguette to pair a pastry with your drink.

Conveniently located at Westborough square, it is what gets me through the rest of the day while waiting for my kid at Kumon. Facilities are what you would expect at any other Philz, decently sized with very high ceilings and a rustic vintage feel. Various art hawked on the walls and other decor provides a brief distraction from the wait as it does get busy, and the smell of coffee wafting your face will boost your cravings for your coffee fixing. They will take the time to perfect your drink-- so very worthwhile. Ask for sweet and creamy, any degree of it, or take it without, but it will surely sooth your soul after your first sip.

Finding this coffee shop was serendipitous! Im usually iffy about new coffee shops but found Philz last year in SF with my Japanese friend and her family. Ordered my drink and was wowed. It was so delicious and the people were so patient and understanding and very kind. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured by the baristas. Now every time I go to SF I make it a point to get Philz coffee for the ride back home to Central Valley. Just wished the opened later so I can make it before they close since SF traffic can be hectic on the weekends.

First time ordering coffee with my sister. She ordered a hot chocolate drink and I ordered something light with a mild flavor but instead got a strong Turkish coffee that was really bitter and strong. Also my sister never got her hot chocolate until we asked what was the held up when hardly anyone was in there. We asked for our money back and walked away... I thought Philz coffee had amazing customer service the night crue didnt assist us all. We probably wont come back... :(

This location is busy for a reason (other than the fact it is the only one available in Daly City). Between the price of having a cup of specialty coffee and how busy it is at this location, it can be kind of frustrating. Because this location is new, it looks clean and very well designed given that it is fairly compact. In addition, the staff is friendly, and quick. Lots of parking in the shopping center, and adjacent to many restaurants.

7.1.2015 Just another glorified Starbucks? More like the Safeway coffee section. Hazelnut flavor and other artificial enhancers are added to their pompously named "drinks", e.g. the Philharmonic - its a 7-Eleven-style coffee with hazelnut extract in it. Im sorry I have to go against so many good reviews but any artificial additives arent just unhealthy but they also hide the true taste of their coffee.

This Philz Coffee location is cool. I have always had a pretty good experience when I went there. I realize that this may be a trendy pop culture type of coffee house, but I do find that the customer service is a bit lax ( Or Im just getting old lol ). Be prepared to stand in a line that goes out the door on the weekend. I really appreciate hat they have a lounge area and accommodations for children.

Great place to get coffee in SF. They are everywhere there is seems. Just know that the "system" for ordering coffee is different. Stand in line, wait to be called up, then pay and listen up for your name to be called. They also dont have lattes or drinks that you would expect from a Starbucks. What you see on the board is what you can order only!

I was delighted with my experience at Philz. Delicious coffee, friendly service, convenient hours. We dont have much in terms of real coffee places in this area, you usually have to go to the City -- its so nice to have this place now! The iced mojito coffee is great summer treat, and the Sooo Good is... as advertised. :-)

Location: 4 stars. Parking is challenging since theres 30-40 less spaces than they need, especially since people like to hang out at Philz. The ceilings are vaulted and the walls display SF art and doodles. Coffee: 5 stars. Excellent drinks like mint iced mojito, mocha Tesora, or other pour over coffee made to order.

Nice location, big but relaxing with seating along the window on barstools or at one of the many tables. Pretty consistent coffee and is my preferred location when traveling from SF to Palo Alto as you can hop off 280S with ease, PARK, grab a fantastic cup of Philz (even a bagel) and easily jump back on the highway.

The coffee was good and the guy is helpful in helping us to make the right choice for coffee. But the person who took our orders has mixed up our names with another person and the other worker falsely accused us that we took other customer food and without apologized even after realizing it. Will not come again:(

If the line is this long its got to be good! And yes it is! Philz serves a great cup of coffee. Even though the line snakes out the door, they have enough baristas with great attitudes to keep the line moving as quick as possible. Theres plenty of parking at this location since its in a newish shopping plaza too.

Great working space along wit he obviously amazing tasting coffee. Only draw backs are that the parking is pretty terrible because the entire plaza is a magnet for people with popular storefronts. Need to study?? Bring your stuff, grab a spot, and camp out. Theres food everywhere and the wifi is good !

Tim made our coffee and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the different blends of coffees. The atmosphere of the place was warm and inviting, and the open space made the place feel quiet and intimate even though the were pretty busy. Definitely will come back here.

They should have more Philz like these instead of the soul-less coffee bean, star bucks looking things theyre putting up everywhere after raising money. Love the character, love the people, love the recommendations. Been to multiple Philz and nothing is like the first one.

Im always a happy camper to come to Philz. Each location has their own flare which makes it more enjoyable. Loved the open feel and prompt service though I would make it more obvious of where the line starts. Delicious mint mojito and avocado w/ egg toast.

Friendly staff, plenty of seating, great service, and close to nearby restaurants in Westborough Plaza if you want a place to work from for the day. They have a good selection of breakfast food as well and free wifi, great for those who work from home!
