I get Toppers Pizza about once a month. The last time I wanted some, I placed an order for a large one-topping pizza for pick-up over the phone. The person on the phone told me my pizza would be ready in 12 minutes. About 15-20 minutes later, I entered the restaurant, but the location had either forgotten about my order or lost it. Without me complaining about it or asking for compensation, the person at the register immediately apologized for the mistake and offered me a complimentary salad bar and soft drink while I waited for my pizza to be made. I declined her offer, but when they handed me my pizza, they also handed me a coupon entitled "We Goofed" that was good for a free large one-topping pizza. I thought the way the people there handled the mistake was very classy and demonstrated a commitment to great customer service. They left me with no doubt that I will continue to patronize their restaurant.

Absolutely the WORST place and i havent even tried the food yet. Employees are lazy, talking on their phone, wishing they were anywhere but at work. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza. They gave me a buzzer. A small pepperoni pizza came out and sat on the counter for a couple of minutes before they decided to see who it belonged to. It was for dine-in. Finally, they wandered around the dining room with no takers. The waitress and the manager talk about it, OVER THE PIZZA, touching their face and hair. Now my buzzer has still not gone off, so Im assuming this 10 minute old pizza is not mine. Then the waitress puts in a box and brings it to me. Much buzzer has still not gone off. When i tryed to explain to the waitress why i didnt want it, all she did was shrug her shoulders and say, "Its yours". I dont care how good this pizza may taste, I am NOT impressed with this group!

We got food poisoning from this restaurant by ordering take out last Saturday night, Jan 22, 2016. We ordered the Hawaiian Heat pizza, the Barbeque Pizza and the vegetarian Pizza. Six people, including 3 guests became violently ill within 24 hours. Vomiting, severe diarrhea and fever for 48 hours. The only 2 who didnt get ill was our daughter who is a vegetarian and only ate the veggie pizza, and our 2 yr old grandson who did not eat any pizza, thank God. The chicken in the pizza the culprit we feel. Weve reported it to the health dept of Ventura County. Toppers was rude, accused us of having a dirty kitchen, and the owner has not returned our call as was promised. Will never eat there again. If anyone else had this experience on last Saturday night, please report it. The Health Dept wants anyone else to contact them.

Not impressed. Walked in the front to the counter, place is dead, however, there are employees everywhere. Guy walked to the counter, doesnt say so much as hello and is picking his teeth while we wait to order. We walk towards the tables to find a place to sit, there are dirty tables everywhere. To top it off, their 6,000 employees are on their phones or sitting down eating at unoccupied tables. Lets be serious, I understand downtim; I also get that employees need to eat, but, can you at least make sure the place is presentable?? Its not a 5 star restaurant, clearly. Pizza is burnt, breadsticks were gross. So disappointed.

Its all about the double Sauce, double cheese, and double pepperoni. This makes the pizza amazing. Trust me, everyone of my friends that have tried it wont have it any other way now. Prepare for a real Italiano/new york style pizza that will knock your socks off. This Toppers location is always clean, nice salad bar. Dont miss out on good pizza, only problem is they dont deliver over to Tapo st. Where I live :( but hey thats my only complaint and its not even a good one.

Worst customer service Ive encountered this year. First, when asked what size is your large pizza we get the answer of "12 slices". We had to be more specific in asking that question to which the answer was "I dont know"... We should have just left. The prices are actually pretty high for a 14in pizza @ $20.55... I sure hope it tastes good enough to make me forget the shitty and uneducated customer service reps.

Have been here a dozen times a year just returned a salad from the salad bar with bugs on it and the manager said nothing at all. Refunded me exact change for my salads and said not one word. It felt like I was a total annoyance to them. I dont care about getting anything for free. I care about being classless and not apologizing for me finding insects in my food and some kind of assurance it wont happen again..

There was a feeling of racism when my entire team was watching a soccer game after a last game party when some white people show and ask to change the channel and they changed it after we have spent money and time watching the game. they would not change the game until the manager showed up. they apologized to the white people and not us. we will not come back here with any of our teams.

Get the spicy garlic Italian pizza sub for roma tomatoes and chopped garlic; best pizza ever. Ive been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Their sandwiches are pretty bomb too, but the cherry on top is their ranch. Their ranch is amazing, honestly come here just for the ranch and you wont be disappointed.

Well first the price for 2 salads 2 drinks and a medium sized pizza was 30 bucks. Now if it was all you could eat salad bar it would have been almost reasonable. The salad bar was a one trip only and dont overload the bowl because the salad police strictly prohibited it. Pizza was good. Very pricey.

Came in when the registers werent working one night. A teenange girl walks up and says "your gonna have to wait the registers arent working" in a rude tone then turned around and went on her phone until a manger came to fix it. Being rude will lose you business.

I wanna talk bad about the place but the fact of the matter is, the pizzas actually really good, but dont expect to have wings with your pizza, and if you order a pizzookie you better love chocolate chips because you cant get it without.

The food and drink was great, however the employees did not look happy, interested, engaged or present. The service wasnt bad...its just that the employees attitudes set the mood. Management must not be friendly or good.

Went for what was supposed to be a late lunch early dinner... didnt realize the time-dinner. Enjoyed a salad and great pizza. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed with fewer people than I thought. Will go back again.

Hands down Toppers is one of the best pizza places to go to in Ventura County. Ive eaten my fair share of pizza but nothing comes close in terms of taste and quality of pizza vs other pizza places in the county.

The workers were rude and on top of that I ordered a combination pizza and they just completely covered the pizza with onions.. so much that it wasnt even enjoyable... and the smell of onions was over welming
