Ok so first of all this is a pretty OK place. Ive honestly had better! Its on Ventura so PARKING IS A PAIN!!!! Youll be ** *lucky*** to catch a spot that isnt a very distant walk. I traveled to city of industry with my girlfriend for an ice cream place like this one ( chelo creamery ) it was a really great experience! A wide selection of ice cream, toppings, candy, and etc. they will accommodate to your wants and needs. So, after having a delicious type of ice cream similar to igloo my hopes were very high. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. Its a family owned business so there are a lot of young college students working there (which isnt a problem) its just some arent well trained and did not make my ice cream how its supposed to. Now, Im not super strict but one of my rolls took the space of 3 so there isnt enough room for 3 more rolls. They had to squeeze it together which isnt physically pleasing. It looked like a giant mess. Ive been to chelo creamery and it is much more crowded than this place and they delivered my order a lot faster. We went on a fairly slow day with 4 or 6 people coming in and it took them at least 10 to 15 minutes EACH. So if youre in a group waiting for your ice cream I suggest you dont do that because this isnt the perfect photo op. Your ice cream will melt and dissolve into water because there is a 10-15 min wait for each one. The menu isnt large and they suggest for you to try "the favorites" which didnt really satisfy my friends and I. Honestly if you come here it should be just for the experience not for the ice cream itself. Wanderlust has a much better selection and a very creamy texture.

Made to order, organic ice cream, combined with your choice of dozens of additional ingredients. The friendly ice cream maker pours a mixture of egg, cream and your choice of additions, onto a freezing pan. Seconds later, the softly frozen mixture is folded to distribute the ingredients. After flattening the mixture, a spatula is used to "roll" strips of frozen ice cream. These are placed, upright, into a paper cup. The Sundae is complicated with your choice of dozens of toppings. While each step takes but a few moments, this can result in a significant wait, especially if youre third or fourth in line. The family I was with, liked the product but, noted the delay. There is no vegan version. Expensive. Limited free parking behind the store. Metered street parking is available. Wheelchair accessible including a gender neutral bathroom.

This place was amazing! I think the prices are fair for what you get. Its awesome to see them make it and what I love is that they use REAL and organic cream I believe as the base for their ice creams. The staff was nice and friendly too which I like. It takes a while for you to get your order but I dont mind.

Igloo Parlor Ice Cream Shop is such a treat! Delicious, organic ice cream served with choices of fruits, nuts, and toppings in an adorable, old-fashioned ice cream shop with comfy tables and chairs, inside and out. Friendly servers, convenient hours, free parking in rear. A real find!

Great fun to watch them make it and the ice cream tastes great, but just cant justify this as more than a novelty when I have to pay $7+ for amounts to one scoop of ice cream with some toppings. If the price doesnt bother you, the you will not be disappointed!

Its cool that the ice cream is kosher and many of the ingredients are organic but for the price the ice cream doesnt taste like anything special. It looks cool.
