I used to love them and rate them five stars but I had a bad experience with an employee who snotted at me and said I couldnt use the restroom unless I purchased something, I had already eaten that day and was having a bathroom emergency due to a medical condition! I would have came back in a few minutes later cause I wanted a shake, but the rude male cashier snotted at me after I told him that and refused to let me leave unless I bought something, he said the cheapest thing was a dollar fifty Costco water bottle, some off brand water bottle mind you! Lets just say I havent been back since, I am in the industry and that was uncalled for there lucky I dont give zero stars but their burgers and fries are great, and so are there shakes!

I personally feel the burgers were the best I have ever had! So good in fact, that I ate there three out of the four days I was in Santa Cruz. The fries and onion rings were delicious. The staff at the Seabright location were extremely courteous and friendly. They were eager to please! Our waitress (Savannah) at the dowtown location was super, as well! If I ever move to Santa Cruz, I will be a regular customer. You should franchise so people across the U.S. can enjoy your great food. Indianapolis, IN could definitely use a good burger joint.

For me a Burger should taste like three things: salt, pepper and beef. Betty s seasons the beef flavor right out of the burhet with some over powering Mediterranean falafel sort of spice mixture. In a word: bad. No matter how much you dress that baby up you never taste much more than this middle eastern seeming spice crime. No thanks, Ill pass. If youre a purist like me and want to taste beef, head to Jacks Burgers downtown and let them show you that less is more.

I love this place. Great veggie burgers for around $5 and the staff were really nice. They were very patient and answered all of my dumb questions and made accomodations for my picky little ones. My wife was born vegetarian and doesnt get the fake meat thing but she really liked her burger too. Their veggie burgers are homemade and delicious, not some overpriced commercial patty. Thank you Betty Burger!

IN LOVE WITH BETTY!! Its the one food place in SantaCruz I feel at home, since she is from the same location I am from, Panhandle TX. I love the burgers. If you can not eat a lot get the basic betty or order off the kids menu. The burgers are huge! But oh so good! I have to eat here as soon as I get off the airplane. The food is always fresh, hot and service is excellent!

Best Burgers in Santa Cruz. Been here a couple of hundred times now, and I cant think of anywhere else to get better tasking burgers in town. A point grinder with a basket of sweet potato fries always hits the spot! Heads up though, the majority of the burgers are 1/2 pound. It also helps that the staff is friendly and actually looks like they like working there.

Delicious as always. Its been 2 years since I have been here and it is exactly the same. The burgers are amazing and the garlic fries have fresh minced garlic sure to give your taste-buds a little spice, while the fries are a little sweeter than the fries you might find at more common burger joints. I recommend the Mad Mex if you love guacomole on your burger.

Always the best and greatest burger, fries, sweet potato fries, hotdogs, and chili, ice cream and shakes!! Mondo is absolutely the best manager and he is always welcoming and makes us feel important and appreciated!! We love OUR Bettys !! The staff here are first class ! They always make the perfect burger, with a smile and a happy face !! Best of Seabright!!

I love bettys, its a bit more elaborate than Jacks but its definitely my favorite burger place in town! the burgers are huge and can be easily shared, the milkshakes are made with Mariannes ice cream (amazing!) and the french fries are addicting, crispy, tempura-like masterpieces! Its one of the best places in town!

The garlic fries. They will make you laugh and cry and think about your happiest childhood moment. They will make you burp up patronuses all day. True perfection. Will enlighten you beyond Ghandi. Will take you up to Mars to make out with Matt Damon and back through a worm hole tunnel of orgasms. 11/10 recommend.

Best sweet potato fries in town. Bettys is one of my regular spots. Great, tasty burgers and shoestring fries, and really the best veggie and turkey burgers around. Seabrights location is small and cozy, perfect for dropping by and picking up a bag of burgers and fries before a bonfire at Seabright State Beach.

The meat was seasoned, so that right there is awesome. I dont know why most places dont?? If you like shoestring fries, youll love theirs. Hubby doesnt, but did admit they have good flavor. The salad, simple, but hit the spot. The burgers are HUGE. Will definitely come back when were in town again!

Like their burgers! Local, fresh produce and meat. Good value. Like atmosphere at their new Pacific Ave venue. Can be busy into late evening. Not a great beer selection (for a Northern European). Red Room (nearby) is much better at that, food is great there too, more selection, a bit more expensive.

The sign says "Burgers" and that why I cant wait to bring my burger-snob friend Michael here. Bet hell love the half-pounder with cheese. And the service has improved above what it was before and I have always had good experiences here. They even brought out my malt as soon as it was ready!

Bad service, workers speaking to each other in Spanish while disregarding a customer ready to order. The girl at the counter didnt tell me the cost, and just edited to be paid. Naturally, no word of thanks our acknowledgment. Will never come back again. It felt like an unfriendly taqueria.

Good burgers great fries and reasonable prices. Found this place in a pinch while on a family road trip from AZ. Not the cleanest dining room I have ever seen but hit the spot when we needed it too. Could use a remodel and higher quality beef, otherwise a solid 3 star place.

Fantastic burgers and loved the sweet potatoes fries and lube. I always say a good burger is where you can imagine eating it without the relish knowing itll still taste good. Good quality meat, good prices and great friendly service. Highly recommend.

Pretty decent burgers and food. Was a little but let done with the decor to be honest. My girlfriend is a huge vintage fan and we went here one night on vacation and we had our hopes a little higher. Great service though.

Moderately priced 1/3 pound burgers with a special dressing. Only slightly more for 1/2 pound. Fast service. Veg option. Popular with locals, located at he end of Seabrite minutes to the Harbor and the Boardwalk.
