*update* when you lie multiple times and disappoint the kiddos with your lies...I have to post about it. The first time they tell us "to sit in the trolley car you have to make a reservation" and tonight when we made reservations in advance, they tell us "reservations arent made for the trolley car, its a first come first serve basis, in person" makes me FURIOUS when the kiddos are told were finally going to get to sit in the trolley car for dinner. I could care less but to change your policy to fit your amount of requests is pitiful and Ill be taking this in to account the next time I consider going here. Beyond disappointed in their lying. (Minus 3 stars) I havent ate at an OSF since I lived in FL, this location made my day. Ive been back three times now and it will be a regular stop for me. I love the food, service, and especially the feel inside. Trip down memory lane with food to match. I highly recommend.

I like the food, and the prices, atmosphere, parking is easy, but the service is spotty at best. Sometimes the tables are filthy. Sometimes they bring you a high chair and its broken. Sometimes the server forgets about you, and your food. Sometimes with reservation you wait over an hour. Not always but it happens enough that my friends and associates refuse to go with me. I think if they considered taking care of the employees, abolishing the tipping system and instead pay them decently, maybe the ongoing service problems would be reduced. Really ongoing... been coming here since 2001, and employees are usually different and often complain about having too many tables, etc. FYI dont let them trick you into donating to get free garlic bread. The certificate does expire almost immediately. I have like 10 of them I need to toss.

The food is good and inexpensive. The "specials" generally cost under $13 per person and include cheesy garlic bread, soup/salad, the main course, and dessert. Quality was pretty decent (the Mizithra Cheese spaghetti with garlic and bacon was actually really good.) While you wont find the taste "exquisite", its unbeatable for the price and much better than many other popular places (like Buca di Beppo). The place looks "old" and the decor is somewhat... weird; you feel like youre eating at the Grand Budapest Hotel during a brownout with an old train car sitting right next to you, but that shouldnt spoil your dining experience. They also check your parking ticket, so parking is free in the building across the street.

alright food & unique, nice atmosphere. Good price for a main entree, which includes either minestrone soup or Caesars salad & spumoni ice cream. So, you basically pick either the soup or the salad and ice cream is all for free. You should be leaving with a full stomach, happy, and content. Also, the service varies is hit or miss. Usually, from the many times Ive been here, it was great to even Fantastic with this one waitress girl, who had a wonderful personality and served us well. However, watch out for a lack in service on their super busy nights near holidays. On these busy nights, you would need to reserve a table probably two weeks in advance to be safe, haha.

This review is about the customer service / Host. My wife Daughter and I came there Thursday around 6:30 and I expected somewhat of a wait. We checked in and the host said 20- 30 Minutes. OK I can deal with that. So she put us on the waiting list. Well after an hour wait! I went up to see where we were on the list and we still had people a head of us. With knowing that WE LEFT AT ONCE! This is complete BS!! I found out there was banquet going on and that slowed down the complete process. Just tell me that up front that you are running slow do to that! Dont BS me with 20 -30 minute wait! Be Honest! Will stay away now and let other know about there lying tactics.

they have this full meal deal where you get fresh bread, salad/soup, ice cream, and drink with any entree. So I typically spend around $15 for my food including tip. They also validate your parking. It can get a little packed during dinner hour on weekends, so you can call ahead to reserve a table, BUT you have to do it within an hour of arriving, and they technically dont call it a "reservation", and can get snippy about the terminology. If its just dinner for two, its pretty easy to get a table anyways, plus they have a bar where you can get some drinks and they have some arcade games upstairs for the kids and young at heart.

Well I had a great meal here. I had the Tenderloin medallions and spaghetti and it was delicious. The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside, and the decor is surprisingly cool. There are stained glass windows, a trolley car dining area, a bar and nooks and crannies for you to sit and relax in. There is even a game machine area to keep the kids from being bored. This place looks like an old church that was converted into this restaurant, but I am not sure. It is a busy place but they seat you pretty quickly. The food is good and reasonably priced. The bar is cozy and looks to be 100 years old. Recommended!

The dishes were extremely bland, we ordered the Italian sausage and white clam sauce pastas and had to add salt, pepper, and cheese to get any flavors. Even the sausage itself barely had any spices and salt. The minestrone soup tasted like a bunch of veggies were quickly dumped and cooked in broth then just as quickly pulled out without any flavoring. The restaurant itself smelled like sour old plastic youd find at your grandparents home and was really off-putting we almost decided to choose another restaurant but we figure we wanted to try a new one. The servers were nice though and helpful.

Its an American Italian place with all the pseudo-Italian foods Americans expect. I didnt find the quality of the dishes very good. It was okay. The restaurant is big with big furniture and very few windows. It makes you feel like visiting your angry Grandma as a kid. The waiters act as if they have been there for decades and are a bit impatient with the customers. The plates are slammed on the table as efficiently as possible, and although there is some kind of dessert included they never really tell you about it. With so many much more authentic Italians around its a waste of time coming here.
