My sister invited me over to watch the debates on September 26th 2016 and asked me what I wanted to have for dinner. I said do you know of any place close by that offers a good pizza and she said yes its Pizza Maria and its literally right across the street from where I live. So we ordered the pepperoni,sausage mushroom, olive and I took one bite and was in heaven! Pizza Maria is the best pizza Ive had in San Jose and I think Ive had them all. The crust was perfect the sauce was delicious and they use nuggets of sausage not like most of the pizza restaurants do now which is to crumble the sausage like its hamburger. I couldnt stop eating it and was filled after three slices. I plan on going back for more and try some more of the items on the menu and Ive already referred friends to go there and check it out too. My wife and I had heard of this place from some friends of ours, a little skeptical but we went. Youre in for a surprise. We ordered I think a #7 pizza(spinach, feta, tomatoes, sausage) and a Greek salad. The salad was fresh and very tasty but the best part to come, the pizza. I worked in a pizza place myself for 3 years during college, I though that I had my share of pizza for the rest of my life, but no, this is by far the best pizza Ive had. You just want to keep eating, every taste bud in your mouth is on full force. Im definitely going back, and Ive gone so far to write this review and Ill be telling every friend I have. Too bad that I live in East Bay but I would be ordering take out every week.

Ok, I prefer to try several times before I really rave about a place. The pizza is really Good! I dont know what they do but every time I get pizza here Im more than happy with it. Loads of fresh toppings! I only wish they would take credit cards, but theyre cash only.....maybe its better that way. Otherwise Id eat way too much pizza.

Awesome pizza. I did have a problem once with an online order but it was not there fault. It was a problem with the ordering service. Well back to the pizza, delicious! It is kind of expensive but it is worth every penny. Give it a try and you will probably go back for more.

I think this is a family owned restaurant and they are always very nice! The pizza if great and I usually get the square pizza because I like the deep dish style with a little extra sauce. Something about it makes we always want to go back for more!

Im from Japan, and went there with my US friend on his recommendation. It was really delicious pizza Ive never had. The restaurant was cozy and the owner was kind and friendly. Id like to go and eat it again.

Yummy for the tummy. Mouth dripping everything. Foods are superb and variety of alcohol as well as pop soda. If you have not tried , your only missing out.
