This little Italian restaurant has GREAT FOOD! Thier Piazzas and Strombolis are that perfect combination of homemade sauce, cheese & toppings . While writing this my mouth is already contemplating what to order next time. I love the pasta the stuffed shells with white sauce or the lasagne, my mouth & stomach just cant wait. Mmmm mama mia its that good. And whats really nice is the small genuine small Italian restaurant feel no big change restaurant wait staff just a small mom-and-pop restaurant with great food and they toss their pizzas the old-fashioned way. They close at 10 and you can expect them to be busy at dinner time but its worth it you can always call your order and head of time or get it to go and if you really like Italian youre going to love this place like I said its worth the wait

I have been coming here for more than 30 years. As a child my father would take me here almost every Saturday for lunch. I can honestly say that this is place is one of my top favorite places to eat on earth. The stromboli is what they are known for and it is the pinnacle of what a stromboli should be. Ive had stromboli in NYC and Tonys is still my favorite. You need to try the pasta too. I frequently get the rigatoni or the spaghetti - both are killer dishes. Oh, and they make a mean pizza too. The thin, hand tossed crust is the bomb. The location isnt the greatest, but come there anyway and you will not be disappointed with the quality of the food. A place like this deserves to be experienced by lovers of good, Italian food.

I give them a one star because I ordered a pasta dinner and didnt receive all of the order for it. Not only that I called in to let them know they forgot some of my order and all they had to say was thank you... seriously I paid and I am a customer a little more courtesy would be nice.. youd think since theyve been around for awhile theyd have a little bit more respect.. yes it may be busy in your restaurant but when you make a mistake try and correct it dont just say thank you like it doesnt matter.. btw the pasta has no flavor and its really disappointing to see this place has a 4-5 star rating.

A wonderful genuine local gem. Even with an unassuming interior, this little family-run restaurant feels very authentic and welcoming. The service is attentive and excellent, and the food is so delicious I wish I could come here to eat it every day. Particularly the Stromboli is sooo good! Portions are very generous and very reasonably priced - definitely order the "medium" portion unless you have someone to share with or want to have the other half at home tomorrow. ;) 100% recommended. I am really hoping this restaurant, despite its location in a sketchy part of town, will live on forever.

This quirky little restaurant has great food, but the service is hard to figure out. I ordered at the counter, was handed my drinks, went to find a table, and was brought food. No check was presented, so I had to go back to the counter and wait in the line of incoming customers to pay my bill at the register. The seats arent very comfortable, and the walls are covered in pictures of Laurel & Hardy and Joe Di Maggio without any evidence of a connection between the restaurant and these people. None of this detracted from the amazing strombolis or the good selection of draft beers.

If you havent tried a Strombolli from here, then you are really missing out! This place is one of my all time favorites. The atmosphere is great, and the food is fantastic. The restaurant really has that authentic Italian family-owned feel to it! Also, be sure to check out their thin crust pizza! The pizza cook says to me "If you want bread, order bread. If you want pizza, order the THIN CRUST!" This place really is great!

The tiramisu I received from this restaurant via door dash was moldy. I called the restaurant and they refused to resolve the issue directly so I had to contact door dash. Regardless a restaurant should not sell moldy desserts. Last time I will eat there because of moldy tiramisu and because of lack of initiative to make things right.

I like local food. I like restuarants that are run by families..where you see the same people almost everytime through the door. I love Stromboli. I love Dimaggios. The Stromboli is made by the mom of the family right in the window..its feels like walking into your own kitchen (if I was italian) and sitting down for a meal.

We had 2 large strombol.. it was $14 for one strombol. It was good but not $14 good. O and u have to pay at the end and we where waiting for ever to pay and at the end we only had to pay for one because they forgot to charge us for 2. So we walk out and got it for %50 off but I would still not go back even for %50 off

We have been going to Tony Dimaggio Pizza for their famous Strombol since the 80s. I have never had one that beats theirs, and Ive tried them from SF to NY, but we also come back for best here in our backyard. *Also awesome pizza and pasta available with great authentic "homemade sauce" for the rest of you.

Food is delicious. Ordering was very slow. Cost was 28.41, I paid 30.51 and the cashier decided that age didnt want to do math, and instead of giving me 2.10 back, age gave me back my 51 cents and counted out 1.51 instead. Not a big deal, but give me a break, math is not that difficult.

My first time having stromboli and it was delicious. A medium sized stromboli with a side of spaghetti and meatballs was able to feed three grown men. Definitely would recommend coming here to try out the stromboli if you have never tried one.

Been coming here for over 30 years. The absolute best pizzeria in the bay area hands down. Ive moved around the area a bit and never had a problem with making a 20+ mile drive for the food...especially their world famous stromboli!
