Typical asian bakery with majority of patrons asians. Nothing special about this place just basic standard sweet and savory treats. Buns are safe items to buy rather than anything with whipped cream or fillings. Workers are somewhat quiet acting not to see you. English is a major problem here with older worker, but younger worker can do translator.

Its pricier than the Sheng Kee thats right down Irving, but compared to other 9th and Irving places, its pretty affordable. They have more white people food than Asian inspired but still the basics are still there. The boba and tea are good though, although they can be sweet. Just ask for less sugar.

Sapph Nor

This is a smaller bakery, and therefore doesnt carry all the products a big Sheng Kee would have. Staff is mostly friendly. Pastry is pretty fresh. The cakes are average; but cheaper than American bakeries. Cake ordering is less flexible, as the minimum size of the cake must be 9".

This place used to be 4 plus stars in the past. But what happened? The ingredients for their cakes are definitely substandard now. Had their mango and chestnut cakes last month... and they taste so awful. Only giving 3 stars because they still have decent pastries.

This is a good Sheng Kee location with good selection, nice seating area and quiet but friendly staff. Service is always with smile and fast. Im a repeat customer and the service and the food is always consistently good.

Nice seating lounge area in back, including some tables outside in the "courtyard". You can enjoy Chinese savory or sweet pastries with self-service Peets coffee. Clean.

This brings me back to the amazing Asian bakeries in southern California. Great precedes and deals here. I love to get the Boba tea here (they dont do milk)

Good place for baked goods and other desserts. It was very warm inside here on this extremely chilly day. Plenty of variety of desserts and other snacks.

They are open early and the bakery is fresh. Tired the bbq pork one and the custurd bun. Would definitely come back here in the future

1.99 Boba is the best deal around here. Ask for no sugar and their milk tea. The natural sweetness of the boba is enough.

This is the nicest cleanest Sheng Kee. The pastries look more appetizing than the Sheng Kee down the street.
