I love everything about this place. Its been open a little less than a yrs I believe and it has so much charm. I usually come here to do some work, which is a great relaxing place to come, and with plenty of seating options. Also the staff are the best. Very welcoming, pleasant, make awesome recommendations. One of the staff(i will find out his name today!!) made me a mocha with a special spin on it.... DaBomb!! Although I havent come yet, I do love the idea of story telling , and open mic night.... they also have music performers. Oh and a book self full of books you can buy from or exchange for.....love the art on the walls. I wish this place all the success as its definitely my favorite coffeeshop far! :)

I enjoy coming to the cafe. The owner and staff are friendly. However, they need to find a new vendor for the pastires. I have tried the fruit scone twice, this week thinking I just had a bad batch, I was not wrong! The fruit scone is dry tasting, has very little fruit and has a brunt taste to them. The bathroom is in super bad shape today looks like it has not been cleaned in days. Please fix the automatic handdryer or get a larger waste paper basket. Staff should also wipe down the tables. Again, I love going to the cafe because it is owned by a women and the space is amazing but housekeeping duties are lacking.

Tremendously good food and drink! Bright and safe atmosphere with positive energy. Story time and open mic nights beaming with creativity. Whether gathering a group for game night, popping in for a morning coffee or winding down in the evening its always a treat. At first glance you can tell a lot of passion and thoughtfulness went into creating this space, and the cheerful staff are a reflection of this fact.

The counter was busy but I didnt have to wait for a long time. The ice tea is flavorless, but it was cold on a hot day. I like to be able to walk to the seashore without having to drive and park to find food. The store was comfortable with lots of seating but not many books on the shelf. I think that the bookshelves should be stocked since there are so many thrift stores full of books in the Bay Area.

Found this little gem in the neighborhood that I have never been to. The environment and decor of the cafe are very relaxing. The cupcake and tea are ok. I think its mainly for you to relax. It was pretty quiet when my friend and I went. This will be a go to meet up place for me and my friend from now on! I love the seat that I got! Go check it out if you are in the neighborhood!

Just went out for dessert with some friends, and surprise! Best freaking artisan ice cream ever!! And Ive been to all the artsy joints in SF and LA and Austin etc. This place is worth a trip to Point Richmond, a very nice little neighborhood youve never heard of. Eat this ice cream and you might decide to move there. Oh they also have coffee, tea and food.

I have been coming to Kaleidoscope since I was about 8 years-old, and now Im bringing my children here. There have been a few changes in the years. It used to be group led and children only, letting parents watch through 2-way mirrors at how their kids played. Now the parents get to play and create alongside their children (at least the fun parents do).

I visited this morning for the time. Its such a great space, you almost forget they sell great coffee and other nibbles. Its great for meetings with friends and as a work space. They even have a nice seating area with books that can purchased for a small fee. The staff that helped this morning was also really friendly. I hope I get to visit more often.

Nice place, plenty of seating and good coffee. Free WiFi is a plus. Big down side is that the owner/manager is not friendly. Ive been a few times and she always seems bothered, never says welcome or hello never says thank you in fact never says anything.

Just a good place to eat. Waitress was nice, friendly and on top of things. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere with two TVs going. My breakfast was very tasty and the price was reasonable. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

The espresso machine was out so I couldnt get an affogato. I got one made with drop coffee, which is fine, but they charged me separately, which made it more expensive. And there was paper in the gelato. Wi-Fi is good tho.

It has vegan stuff for all those do good ers. It plays the music just loud enough for you to notice but not let it distract you. Most people go here to study so its appreciated that you stay quiet. I love it here.

Think of it as a place where you dont have nowhere else to go and have friends that just wanna talk and have a good time. Like the show "friends" coffee shop. Or a magazine store like from "the big bang theory".

If you are looking for a distinct alternative to the money grubbing anti Christmas corporate giant in the historic Pt Richmond area to get a tremendous cup of high octane java this is the place.

Warm working cafe oasis. Big open space, ambient, friendly staff, good chai latte. Wifi bandwidth on last visit was > 30mbps download, >5mbps (more than enough for heavy net usage).

Kicked me out because I brought outside food in. Employee said I was disrespectful and that I couldnt stay unless I bought something. So I left.
