It is Golden, but could become olden. They could raise the prices to pay for air conditioning. I wouldnt mind paying more for a cooler place to eat. It also needs a makeover or at the least, a thorough cleaning so it will look new instead of old. Its the perfect place for a Gordon Ramsey remodel. The food is good and the service was prompt and he brought what we ordered but mixed up who ordered what, no worries, we traded plates and bowls and it was still good. So go and have good food for a low price. If more people go it could come back to life.

Me and my grandmother ate here. We ordered the Home Special well the $14 dinners and we just couldnt stand the waitress who was either not fluent in english or just downright rude. There was a couple awaiting their order to be taken and sat there for 30 minutes before they left. The food was decent but the way we were served was outright awful, she just basically tossed me drinks. Not to mention they never asked if i needed another drink. It was just not what it lived up to be in terms of service. Moral of the story, Will not eat here again.

My wife and I ate here last night. The food was terrific, the waiter and waitress that helped our table were fantastic: friendly, prompt, very courteous, and even brought out some soup for our baby daughter. My wife and I ordered the Imperial dinners. The amount of food we received was incredible. We could not finish even half of what was given to us -- the rest we took home after the friendly waitress boxed it up for us. We literally took home enough food for 1 or 2 more dinners -- all for $26. WHAT A DEAL. Do not miss this place!

When I was a kid my parents would take me to a chinese restaurant in montebello that had my favorite Hot & Sour soup. After moving away from that area we searched for a place that made it the same exact way. No luck UNTIL... Golden China!! They make it the same way and BETTER! They offically win BEST Chinese in my book. I reccomend this place to the world! haha Youll enjoy it I promise!

First time here. Ordered the BBQ Pork chowmain which was decent. Did not care for the Coconut chicken at all. Just battered and fried chicken pieces drowned in what seemed to be a thick mayo and sugar mixture. No traces of coconut flavor at all. Very disappointing. The ladies tending to the customers were very blunt and non attentive. Not rude, just not used to smiling I guess.

Love the food. The young lady (owner) is Awesome. She is very polite and serves well. Im sorry to add that i avoid going at night because her helper the Hispanic woman serves poor quantities. Me and my family have been going to this locations for our Chinese food desires for about 2 years now.

best chinese food ever!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously :) best chowmein, sweet n sour pork, rice soup egg roll all of it was excellent! great lunch specials 7 days a week till 3pm under $7 for soup, appetizer, rice and main course.

Go at lunch time before 3, the food is much cheaper then. The food never fails fails, their orange chicken was amazing, their honey walnut shrimp murdered! Anything from here will always make the cut ;)
