I dont know about you, but I venture to restaurants not only for the food...but also for the experience. This place both delivered in their food and service. Food: Rock n Roll California roll ($11.95) w/spicy tuna and green tobiko on top. This was my ultimate favorite sushi here! Cross between spicy Tuna and California roll with an extra punch. Just try It! Fire Dragon Roll ($13.00): Onion, yellow tail, on top of Spicy Tuna Roll. My fiance especially enjoyed this roll. The onion gives a sutle sweet flavor and the spicy Tuna is a nice contrast. Spicy Tuna Roll ($6.95): typical, nothing extraordinary Tuna two pieces ($6.50): if you want to test any sushi restaurant on their fish quality, just try their tuna without the works. The tuna was good, not great. Service: They are very quick and friendly in preparing the freshest sushi rolls. I especially enjoyed the awesome chief that took the time to converse in some Japanese with my fiance. Unlike many other sushi places, youll place your order verbally with chef. Not on a written order form. I really like that you get the ability to see all of your food prepared in front of you and get to know each chief. They are very casual here and you can order more rolls as you please. They also display their selection of various saki and I will definitely be back to order that rock n roll roll with their saki!

Peter made my family and me feel at home. We had the Omakase (chefs choice) at the sushi bar and every dish or sushi that Peter served up was droolingly delicious. The lobster roll is so good and had the right amount of kick. I could order just that for lunch and be a happy camper. We also had the savory egg custard dish. Its fun and yuuumy digging for the treasure (mushroom, gingko nut, etc.) that are hidden in the custard. And all the sushi and sashimi that Peter whipped up, just simply amazing and fresh. I would be a regular here if I lived around the area. Definitely a regular sushi spot for me. YUMS!

This place is absolutely amazing! The fish here is beyond fresh and if you sit at the chefs table you will be delighted by some of the small bites that he will create for you in between your orders. The Toro was like butter, the ono was extremely fresh and light and the red snapper is to die for. Definitely treat yourself to some of the best sushi at this little hidden gem

Truly amazing. Best sushi Ive ever had, and thats saying something. Asking Peter for the chefs special is a really neat experience, he will ask you generally what you like and then just creates serving after serving of unique sushi/sashimi/rolls/appetizers/soup until you are full. Fish is fantastically fresh. Great stuff!

THE BEST Sushi I have ever had! I have been eating sushi for 20 years and nothing compares to this. Chef Peter is an amazing artist of flavors, garnishments and entertainment! What a wonderful place to have spent my birthday! I will be back!

Bistro Miyoda is always a good choice for sushi. The fish is consistently fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere is very casual so it is definitely friendly for groups of all ages.
