Based on the reviews, this seemed to be the best Hawaiian restaurant in the area, but I was a little bit disappointed in the experience... First of all, while the menu has many choices, they didnt have quite the choice I wanted and were absolutely unwilling to do any kind of substitutions. I confirmed with the owner that the Jalapeño Chicken is basically the BBQ Chicken with jalapeños, and costs the same, so I asked for a combo of Kalua Pork & Jalapeño Chicken, but the owner flatly refused. Next, although we indicated we would be dining in, the food was served in black Styrofoam containers with plastic cutlery and the drinks were in plastic "to go" style containers. At first I thought the server made a mistake, but apparently this is how they do things since the few other customers dining in were served in the same manner. It quickly became quite obvious that the vast majority of their clientele order to go. I figured that all fast food places have a drive-thru, but apparently not. I took my wife here thinking it would be a nice place for a date, but the atmosphere is more like a fast food joint and quite noisy. Many of the customers ordered blended drinks which are prepared right up front with a VERY LOUD blending machine, making it difficult to converse with my wife. If youre looking for something romantic and/or flexible in their offerings, look elsewhere. If you want pretty good Hawaiian fare with very little flair as youre rushing through life, this would be a good pitstop. Many of the customers seem to be regulars and very friendly with the staff, occasionally even referring to each other by first name, which is admirable. Finally, I believe my disappointment stems from having in mind a different kind of dining experience based on being spoiled by Pac Island Grill in Federal Way, WA. I had been going there since they opened and my wife & I ate there many, many times when we used to live in Western Washington. P.S. The Sriracha sauce here is watered down, which is pathetic.

Aloha! Bar none this is the best Hawaiian fast food restaurant in our area. We have an Ono Hawaiian bbq close by but we would rather go here even if its 15 minutes drive more. The Chicken Katsu plate is the best. I usually get it with 2 over easy eggs. Loco moco and the spam musubis are among the must haves. I always order ahead of time so that we get our food on time. Mahalo for our ono food you guys!!!

We are frequent customers to Aloha K BBQ, always freshly prepared, and our kids love it. Employees/owners are great, very friendly and provide good service whether you dine in or pick up. Phone-in orders are no problem, and theyve even catered several parties of ours. And of course, the food is delicious! Highly recommended over L&L (yuck)

This place is simply amazing! The beef and grilled chicken combo leaves the most discerning foodie with nothing but complete satisfaction. The quality of the meat along the balance of flavors makes for a truly satisfying experience. There is not a single item I have found disappointing after 7 years of going here. Highly recommend!!

Service is fantastic friendly right on it hardly ever a long wait food is good not exactly like home in Hawaii but cant be choosy especially if someone else is doing the cooking when in town to work I come at least once a week since I found this place come and eat

love this place i use to go to the hawaiian bbq place off campus and the 210 but since this one was closer i decided to go here and the food is just as good if not better here. highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good hawaiian food

My son and i love this place. Food is fresh and filling. Service is great. My favorifes are BBQ chicken noodle soul and Jalapeno chicken. Better than L&L Hawaiian at the Terra Vista shopping center.
