I really dont know how people would give this place good ratings. We were there for our company dinner gathering on 7/26/2010. We made a reservation for 12 people at 6:30pm. We arrived on time but sat down at 7pm when the restaurant is only half full. All the waiters and waitresses were just walking around without noticing we were standing at the front door waiting. We ordered our food in 15 mins after we sat down and our food was served 90 mins later!!!!! The steaks were THIN, DRY and JERKY-LIKE. Keep in mind that if you order a rare cooked steak, your steak will come out a well-done. Now, if you order a well-done, your steak will come out like a burnt beef jerky!!!!!! It was such a bad bad experience. I personally have not had such a bad experience in a long time. If there was a competition for the most terrible restaurant, this place must be in the top three. DO NOT COME HERE EVER!!!

though I hear theyre upgrading their kitchen and bar to imptove food and beer selection. Lots of TVs to watch, good collection of sports memorabelia. Catch the waitress eye, she may not see you which can leave you waiting for service. All the high/low tables makes it hard for the servers to see. Staff is pleasant, food/beer prices reasonable. Seems like a good place making improvements to be better. Also I found when I did give feedback, they took it seriosly and things changed. Id take my friends there for a pint o bitter!

This is not the Ordinary Sports Bar: 1st > They served Great Food, I like their Chicken Sandwich. 2nd > They are one of the best Horse Racing Betting site in Southern California, matching Ventura the Seaside Club location. If youre horse player this is the place in the East side, more HD TV showing different horse race tracks and other sports as well, nice and polite staffs. FREE parking and free admission.

Despite the current renovations to the kitchen area, I think the staff and management are doing the best they can. Yes, I have seen better days than what is currently going on. However, I think once renovations are complete more people will be singing another tune as to the service and food quality.

First time here, never again. We came to watch the Canelo fight. It was a 20 min wait before we got acknowledge. The service was horrible. She didnt have her name tag or els Id put her on blast. They had a Tecate beer promo and it wasnt honored.

Great food available at this place. Might be a little pricy but well worth the price in quality and size. Great to have the food and drinks while being a guest or vendor at the monthly Retro Respect events as well. I recommend it.

The food was really bad. Their deep fryer was broken so no appetizers at all. The steaks and ribs were so dry they were like jaw-braking beef jerkies. This place is the worst restaurant Ive ever been to.

Waitress was great, nice atmosphere, had a burger with onion rings, very small portion about 5 or 6 rings. Then finding out not included $5 . Burger $12 feel totally ripped off.

Every time we go to Finish Line we have a good time. We sit in the bar/grill area and enjoy a pitcher (or 2) of beer and nibbles. Betting on the ponies and enjoying a day off :-)
