Hands down the best coffee shop on the central coast, yes there are some pretty cool cafes in SLO but the coffee and tea served at the Bean & Leaf is phenomenal I have never had a bad drink from this place. Their menu is simple but covers all the right bases; Nitro, Cold Brew, Blended, Iced, Chemex, and a truly impressive selection of Teas. I have purchased a variety of items from the Coffee Bean from travel thermoses to air tight coffee cups, and everything has been durable and unique. The Tea is all available for purchase and all the merchandise is reasonably priced. The thing that makes this place stand out from all the other coffee shops in this area is the employees, they engage in real conversation and still do their jobs with excellence. I come here every time im in town and have been here many many times over the past 10 years, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is 1st Rate. Definitely go check it out.

I was very set with my coffee today I have been there many of times and have very much enjoyed my coffee but I was at the coffee bean in five cities and I got the worst cup of coffee I have ever bought and even my husband tasted it and said it was horrible I took it back to the girl I told her how bad it was and that Ive had coffee before and she just said oh well..that was it so I walked outside thrrough my coffee in the trash and went next-door and bought a dollar coffee from McDonalds

Good Drinks.... Ok customer service. First time going and I dont know if we will be back. If you cant order a certain size please tell us at the register not the pick up station. " we gave you the bigger size this time but for next time we cant give the bigger size" .... really then why didnt you tell us at the register after purchasing a larger size. We were confused. Like I said.... drink was really good but customer service was so so ok.

Went Sunday after day lights saving. Arrived when they were scheduled to open see two other people in their cars. After 20 minutes the white vibe person gets out, opens the cbtl door, locks it behind them. Proceeds to not open the store. Waited ten more minutes and left. Terrible. Employee was just sitting in their car on the phone. Very frustrating.

I think it is simply some of the best coffee Ive ever had. This is the only one Ive been to. Have been coming here for years on vacation and always look forward to their coffee. The employees are always friendly. Based on this shop Id pick the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf over any coffee shop if I knew it was available.

I love The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, this is the best Cafe ever! I love cheaper priced items, also they have great Hot N Cold beverages! They got Free Wifi, the atmosphere and service was certainly delightful. The Location was so convient since I took a County Bus to get here. I love it!

We always love coming here if we are in the area. So much better than another well known place. The staff is always friendly and have gotten our order correct every time. The coffee never tastes burnt. If you are in the mood for good coffee this is the place to come.

Wonderful coffee, atmosphere, friendly staff. Barista was delivering drinks to us, including my large mocha. They are currently fund raising for Bright Futures, a great after school program.

McDonalds is next door, carried a sandwich inside,ordered latte,after paying was asked to leave as it was a kosher place and my sandwich was not kosher. The male employee was a real jerk.
