It is a small restarestaurant with bright llghts and good ambience. They have indian masala tea on the house which was tasty. The food had the right amount of spice, the rotis were soft, the portions generous. The staff were very friendly and advised us about the food which was very helpful. They have lunch buffet from Tuesday to Friday which I am looking forward to. Overall a great experience. I definitely recommend this restaurant for indian food .

Went there randomly after Target since it was one of the two higher rated restaurants in the area. The lunch buffet was good. I really liked their Eggplant and Cauliflower dishes but did not try any of the meats. The tea was tasty, strong, and free. In terms of ambiance I was not expecting much but the overall appearance could be greatly improved. I think that a window wash, new coat of paint, and new flooring would do wonders.

Tandoor is one of the absolute best Indo/Pak restaurants I have ever been to. My husband and I have tried many different items on the menu, and we are never disappointed. I am especially fond of the dal soup, and he loves the prawn tikka masala. Its our restaurant of choice when we want a delicious, affordable meal in town. Excellent service and food!

I ordered a chicken cocunut curry as recommended by the waiter (spicy) & naam w/garlic &rice. It was awesome and very good! They had milk tea as a complementary drink and tasted good w/sugar :) it was an exciting new experience to try something different than the normal fast food. ;) amazing flavors hands down.

I ordered the chicken masala and garlic naan. The sauce to chicken ratio was off, and got few pieces of chicken, compared to a container full of sauce. The garlic naan tasted like reheated bread. The wait for the food was about 20 minutes. Would not come here again.

Service is good, food is average. We were served uncooked pakora, when reported to the server they did not take it seriously and no refund offered. The reason for 3 stars is because service is good and friendly people.

Just to let all muslims know that this place dont have any halal food. It shows on the map as a Halal restaurant, but its not. I ordered Lamb Kabab soon after the employee told me that all of our food contains Pork.

Unauthentic food and buffet has very little variety with ok naan and bad poori (same naan dough except fried...). Service took a while and nothing was tasty. Definitely not worth the price or the visit.

Great food and excelent service. I tried their paratha and carai ghost. They were some of the best I had found in el cerrito, Richmond and pinole area. Nice place with beautiful painting.

Wait staff are very helpful and energetic. Rice comes free with the entree which is really nice. Naan is a perfect consistency. Wait time is minimal.
